- Was married to tv-personality Gabriella Jakupcsek. They have two sons: Bálint and Marcell Máté.
- Considers Before the Bat's Flight Is Done (1989), Esti Kornél csodálatos utazása (1995) and Presszó (1998) his most important movies, and, of course his first leading role in Circus maximus (1980).
