He may not have ended up with Rachel Berry, but it looks like Glee's Dean Geyer is officially off the market. The actor married Code Black actress Jillian Murray on Thursday in front of 75 guests at a boutique venue in Santa Ynez Valley, according to a People exclusive. "She is the love of my life," Geyer told People before the wedding. "She is gorgeous, strong, hardworking and always the life of the party." According to People, Geyer—who played Brody Weston on Glee—met Murray on the set of their film Never Back Down 2 seven years ago. "From the beginning, I knew I liked her," Geyer told the magazine, adding that the duo "share the...

One Fox show isn't enough for teen queen Demi Lovato! The "X Factor" judge is about to join "Glee" Season 5 for a multi-episode arc, TVLine reports.
The actress and singer, who got her start on "Barney" at a young age and her big break in Disney Channel's "Camp Rock" franchise, is reportedly nearing a deal to play a new friend to Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera).
Fox did not immediately return The Huffington Post's request for comment.
The "Glee" character Lovato is nearly set to play is Dani, a New York-based struggling artist friend to the McKinley High alumni who will also interact frequently with Adam Lambert’s new character, according to TVLine. Expect to see Lambert's character and Dani perform together a bit and for him to butt heads with Rachel and Santana's third roommate Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer). “He’s going to play my nemesis,...

Jenna Fischer and her husband Lee Kirk are relatively new parents (to 22-month-old son, Weston), so it was a luxury to spend a night out in New York City Monday. The pair attended a special screening of Girl Most Likely (starring Kristen Wiig and Annette Bening), hosted by The Cinema Society and Brooks Brothers. Afterwards, the couple headed over - along with much of the cast - to a rooftop party at Hotel Americano. “They were adorable,” says an onlooker. While guests sipped Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, “Jenna munched on a beef slider, and Lee stayed close...

Kate Hudson would like to clarify something one of her "Glee" co-stars said on Access Hollywood Live.
The Almay spokesperson revealed she did not instruct Dean Geyer, who plays Nyada upper classman Brody Weston, to "grope my ass," as he revealed on Access Hollywood Live last week.

Glee returned to Us screens on Thursday to a split narrative, likeable new characters and an overall surprisingly watchable start to what looks to be an improved new season.
The New York side of the show is certainly what I was more curious about, and it doesn’t disappoint. The Nyada sets are picturesque and it really seems like this part of Glee really is that bit edgier and mature. The series opens with Rachel being victimised by tough new dance teacher Cassandra July (expertly played by Kate Hudson), which is a welcome change and particularly fitting considering Rachel had no dance audition as part of her application into Nyada. Rachel’s potential new love interest, Brody Weston (played by Dean Geyer) makes a fantastic first entrance as Rachel gawps at him when he emerges near naked from a shower. I’m hoping he’s going...

This is strange, because idealistically, I very much like "The New Rachel" and how it smartly splinters that crutch of dreamer with a dream and everything it means to Glee. It's a crucial role divided by three: Blaine rightfully becomes The New Rachel as the boy with the best voice in the room who will lead New Directions with the same hokey charm that he did The Warblers, his weapons a bunch of male-led pop alternatives, winky faces, finger pointing, random acts of white-boy gangster. But new girl Marley also becomes The New Rachel in a different sense, as the downtrodden girl with an immense amount of talent harped by setback after setback: she's poor, unpopular, her mom is the school's lunch lady. And new find Melissa Benoist in the role is by no means a Lea Michele, but there's some nice work to be done here if the writers steer this character right.

Dean Geyer may not be a household name in the states just yet -- he's best known in Australia for his role on the soap "Neighbours" -- but his face (and abs!) are about to get a whole lot more recognizable when he joins "Glee," which returns Thursday (Sept. 13) at 9 p.m. on Fox.
Geyer plays Nyada student Brody Weston, a hot upperclassman and possible Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) love interest, and is part of Zap2it's new class of Ones to Watch this fall. We asked him about everything from his most embarrassing iPod track to his first kiss -- and Geyer went for extra credit by answering all 18 of our questions (we only asked for 10 -- such an overachiever, that guy).
Check out his responses below, and catch him this season on "Glee."

Glee 4.02 Preview Photos: Rachel Gets Closer to Brody
It looks like Glee is once again tackling Britney Spears in the second episode of the upcoming fourth season. According to the official episode synopsis: "Brittany S. Pierce is in a funk and turns to her icon Britney Spears’ music for inspiration! Meanwhile, Rachel struggles to adjust to life in New York, but is helped by her newfound Nyada friend, Brody Weston."
That doesn't tell us much, but photos from the episode show us that Rachel is clearly getting closer to Brody in New York. Has Rachel found herself a new boyfriend? We've read that Finn won't be appearing in the first four episodes of season 4, but that he will be coming back - and meeting up with Rachel at some point. Will Brody get the boot when that happens? We'll all have to tune in to the new season to find out.

"Here we go again." Kevin McHale, you took the words right out of our mouths. After weeks of photos, short promos and blink-and-you-miss-it clips, we finally have a Glee video that really gives us an idea of how season four is shaping up. And after that, we meet Rachel's new naked(!) love interest, Brody Weston, played by newbie Dean Geyer. "He's, I think, the only guy that Finn has really had to compete with for Rachel," Michele muses. Also introduced in the video? The...

At this point, the instant-stardom that comes from snagging a role on Glee can only be compared to making it into American Idol's Top 12. Needless to say, Dean Geyer has been overwhelmed by the reaction to his casting as Brody Weston -- and his first episode hasn't even aired yet!

For Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry, graduating from Mckinley and making her way to NYC has given her even more options, specifically, Glee’s upcoming fourth season has brought into her life one Brody Weston. Earlier in the week told you about the casting of Dean Geyer as Brody, an actor who is one of those smooth Australian born South Africans (you know the type) who jumped off the sunk Terra Nova right in Nyada and has Rachel Berry in his sites.
TVline got a bit more of the scoop on the Lea Michelle and Dean Geyer situation brewing, and how it relates to present impediment guy, Cory Monteith’s Finn. But that's where the similarities pretty much stop. Brennan described Parker's "Glee" character as frazzled, eccentric and hilarious. She'll also interact with both Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel (Lea Michele).
"It's gonna be good," Brennan said.
Meanwhile, Kate Hudson will be playing Cassandra July, Rachel's dance teacher at Nyada. And yes, Hudson will be singing and dancing.
"It's a really fun character. It's the difference between the Will version of teaching and more negative reinforcement," co-creator Brad Falchuk said at Comic-Con.
Other new Season 4 additions include Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist. Geyer will play Brody Weston, an upperclassman at Nyada and Artist will play Jake Puckerman, the younger, half-brother of Puck.

Meet the "Glee" new class: The New Directions have an aspiring member and Rachel has an aspiring love interest in Jacob Artist and Dean Geyer, the newest cast members to sign on to the Fox hit for Season 4.
As co-creator Brad Falchuk told Zap2it at Comic-Con, the New Directions' first priority in the fall is to replenish their ranks. Artist will play Puck's (Mark Salling) younger half-brother Jake Puckerman. It sounds like he might've inherited his bro's propensity for singing -- and his bad attitude. He'll try out for the New Directions, but will his attitude derail his audition?
Meanwhile, Geyer will guest star as Nyada student Brody Weston, a hot upperclassman who takes an interest in Lima's shining star Rachel Berry (Lea Michele). What does this mean for Finn and Rachel?
Geyer is a 26-year-old Aussie who starred on "Neighbours" in his homeland, along with Fox's "Terra Nova.

Because the number one rule of any TV show is to make your cast as delicious and sexy as humanly possible (see: The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, Gullah Gullah Island), you might be impressed to discover that the two new guys that'll be swapping spit with the insanely batshit crazy ladies of Glee are so freakin' hot they make Cory Monteith look like an abused loaf of rotten bread. Spoilers here: Dean Geyer, who came in third place on Australian Idol in 2006 and then did a stint on the failed Terra Nova, will play Brody Weston, a Nyada upperclassman who will want the inside of Rachel's mouth all over his body. Meanwhile, Jacob Artist from, um, Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, will play Puck's younger half-brother Jake because of course Puck had a younger half-brother Jake this entire time, Of Course He Did. It’s that time of year, and the networks are revealing their schedules for fall. Fox is always an interesting network when it comes to the upfront season, because they usually don’t have a lot of changes, but they often have fascinating (if doomed) series on the horizon.
The full schedule is below, as are breakdowns of the specific shows, along with trailers, and I want to make sure to point out that they are likely to expire very soon, so you want to catch them while you can.
The really big news for fall is that Glee is moving. The not so big news is that mid-week primetime is still going to be taken over by reality shows. Good news, though not quite news at this point, is that fans of Bones and Fringe are going to get more of their favorite shows, despite the fact that both...

Is The Gay Glass Half Naked Or Half Dressed?
So I was thinking about naked men this week — as part of my job, you pervs. Get your minds out of the gutter!
Actually, it wasn't just naked men I was pondering, but gay/bi male sexuality and how it's treated in the traditional media. Have things gotten better? Worse? In what ways? Is the gay glass of male sexuality half full or half empty?
What got me thinking about the topic? Well, like most things these days, it can be traced back to Glee which actually seems pretty emblematic of the whole topic. And more specifically it was the new issue of GQ featuring Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron and Lea Michele from Glee, that got me pondering the subject.
When I first saw the GQ cover I thought to myself, "Wow, what a double standard. You'd never see that sort...

Whether the fictional women, men, ogres, muppets, babies, and cartoon rockers who made our list were initially created before 1990 didn’t matter so long as they made a lasting impact in the culture after 1990. Some characters were so inseparable in our minds and hearts — like a certain highly articulate TV mother and daughter, for example — that we simply listed them together. (Hey, it’s our list,...

Strand Releasing
NEW YORK -- Style takes precedence over content in this fourth installment of Strand Releasing's popular series of gay-themed short-film compilations. Perhaps the weakest edition of the series, "Boys Life 4: Four Play" features a quartet of efforts more reflective of the filmmakers' career aspirations than of a desire for meaningful expression. The film is playing an exclusive theatrical engagement at New York's Quad Cinema.
The opener, "L.T.R.", from writer-director Phillip J. Bartell, at least displays a timeliness in its satirical look at reality TV, which this summer has been on a particularly gay-oriented bent. It depicts the unraveling of the so-called "long-term relationship" between pot-smoking, stay-at-home Riley (Weston Mueller) and the younger, party-animal Michael (Cole Williams), a relationship not at all helped by the sexual fling between Michael and the filmmaker documenting their story.
Another rocky relationship is examined in Brian Sloan's "Bumping Heads", depicting the developing friendship between thirtysomething Craig (Craig Chester) and much younger Gary (Anderson Gabrych), who meet when their noggins collide at a party. Craig wants the relationship to progress into something more romantic but is unable to act on his desire until yet another incident of head bumping lands him in the hospital.
The most serious entry, Alan Brown's "O Beautiful", uses the Matthew Shepard incident for inspiration in its depiction of the aftermath of a gay-bashing incident in which a young man (Jay Gillespie) has been left for dead in a Midwestern cornfield. One of his attackers (David Rogers) returns to help him, with his true motivations only gradually becoming clear. Its extensive use of split screen is more distracting than illuminating.
But not as distracting as it is in "This Car Up", Eric Mueller's trivial depiction of the "meet cute" between a yuppie exec (Michael Booth) and a sinewy bike messenger (Brent Doyle), in which the relentless use of split screen is as annoying gimmicky as it's been in Mike Figgis' feature-length experiments.
