Arthur Penn’s under-appreciated epic has everything a big-scale western could want — spectacle, interesting characters, good history and a sense of humor. Dustin Hoffman gets to play at least five characters in one as an ancient pioneer relating his career exploits — which are either outrageous tall tales or a concise history of the taking of The West.

If there is one thing about Quentin Tarantino we can be sure of, it’s that he loves movies. For film fans who don’t know too much about the “Blaxploitation” genre they may not have picked up the importance of Jackie Brown, or the fact that the movie was built around one actress, Pam Grier… To look at the reason for this, all you have to do is look no further than Arrow Video’s latest release Coffy.
Seen as one of the best films of the genre, Coffy (Pam Grier) is a nurse pushed to finding vengeance against the pimps, junkies and drug dealers who led to the hospitalisation of her sister. Playing out...

Last August, Philadelphia Eagles player Todd Heremans was involved in a controversy relating to his tweets about how True Blood was "too gay". Apparently GLAAD didn't have a problem with the show's extreme content because True Blood was one of the honorees at the 2011 GLAAD Media Awards.
The HBO drama received the award for Outstanding Drama Series, besting Pretty Little Liars, Brothers & Sisters, Degrassi, and Grey's Anatomy. The fourth season of True Blood is scheduled to premiere this June following three seasons of being a pop culture phenomenon. This was the show's third nomination and first win.
Another award recipient was 30 Rock, winner of Outstanding Individual Episode (in a series without a regular Lgbt character) for "Klaus & Greta". Also nominated were episodes from Drop Dead Diva, Law and Order, Law and Order: UK, and Bored to Death. 30 Rock has one previous nomination, as 2007's "Blind Date" was up for Outstanding Individual Episode.
