- Trude Marlen was born on November 7, 1912 in Graz, Styria, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. She was an actress, known for Die Liebe siegt (1934), Matrimonial Strike (1935) and Operette (1940). She was married to Wolf Albach-Retty. She died on June 9, 2005 in Vienna, Austria.

- Curly-locked Austrian leading lady of the 1930's, daughter of a prominent landowner. She was an important star with Ufa during the 1930's, billed as "the German Jean Harlow", though, for the most part she was rather the Viennese equivalent of the 'girl next door', engaging and uncomplicated. From 1941 to 1945, Trude was an ensemble member of the Vienna Burgtheater. Her film work diminished after the war, but she reemerged in the 1970's and 80's as a popular performer with the "Kleinen Komödie" in Vienna (of which she was co-founder).
