Madame Tussauds London has unveiled two wax figures from its upcoming Star Wars experience.
Princess Leia - played by Carrie Fisher - can be seen in her iconic gold bikini alongside villain Jabba the Hutt from a classic scene in Return of the Jedi.
Visitors to the attraction will be able to walk around an authentic recreation of Jabba's Throne Room as part of the exhibition, which opens on Saturday, May 16.
"These two figures are actually two of the most challenging of the cast of 16 characters we are creating," said Principal Sculptor Stephen Mansfield.
He continued: "With Jabba we have sheer scale - he is 2.9m long, 1.5m high and weighs a whopping 35 stone. We used fibreglass moulding techniques to create the body mass, which has then been hand coloured in precise detail over a six-week period. His massive eyes are made from glass and are each the size of a melon.

Apparently lots of people are excited by the appearance of Prince William and Kate Middleton -- aka the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge -- at Madame Tussauds in London. Not the actual duke and duchess, but wax replica statues of them. From the Guardian: Photographers and camera crews jostled for position on Wednesday morning as Madame Tussauds in London unveiled its Catherine and William engagement tableau. ... Stephen Mansfield, who made the prince's head, has previously worked on waxworks such as David Cameron, the Duchess of Cornwall and David Beckham, said: "Visitors have been demanding this for ages, we do marketing work and the duke and duchess were right at the top of what people want to see." I just don’t get it. Do people feel like they’ve actually seen a celebrity in person if they stand near a waxwork replica? What is the appeal of Madame Tussauds? Can someone explain it to me?...
