- When he went to Berlin again he got in touch with the film business. He appeared in "Europäisches Sklavenleben" (1912) in front of the camera for the first time.
- At the age of 20 he decided to choose an artistic career and he took lessons for singing and acting. It followed first works in Teplitz-Schönau, afterwards followed engagements in Prague, Berlin and Hamburg.
- His son was the famous composer Frederick Loewe.
- He also wrote the screenplay for the production "Das Geheimnis der vier Tage" (1921).
- Theater tours also led him till to New Year before the turn of the century.
- The actor, singer and director Edmund Loewe began his professional career as a clerk before he had first appearances as a singer.
- At the beginning of the 19th century Edmund Loewe acted successfully in Vienna both as a stage actor and operetta singer.
- Edmund Loewe also realised few movies as a director from 1919 like "Die Wallfahrt nach Kevlaar" (1919), "Don Juan" (1919) and "Elixiere des Teufels" (1920).
