This article contains spoilers for "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" season 3, episode 8, "Bad Territory."
This week's episode of "The Bad Batch" sees Hunter and Wrecker doing a job for no pay for Fennec Shand -- the bounty hunter played by Ming-Na Wen who was first introduced in season 1 of "The Mandalorian." She's holding information they need to understand why the Empire is after Omega hostage in order to compel them to help her with collecting a dangerous bounty. They're reluctant to do it, but they see little other choice. They need to know about M-Counts and why the Empire is so intent on finding Omega.
Fennec Shand is a bit dishonest about it, too. She implies she has the information they need, but when they finish the job, she reveals that she only knows the person who might have the information they need and she'll get them in contact. The...

This article contains spoilers for "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" season 3, episode 2, "Paths Unknown."
The three-episode premiere of the third season of "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" offers us two episodes focusing on Omega and Crosshair and their travails on Mount Tantiss, but the middle episode gives us a look at what Hunter and Wrecker are doing as they tear the galaxy apart searching for Omega. Naturally, they find themselves on the trail of the Imperial Scientists and make their way to an abandoned facility. It's bombed out and abandoned (much like Kenari was in "Andor"), so the pair hunt for clues about where Dr. Hemlock and his science team went next.
While they're on this mysterious planet, Hunter and Wrecker find a group of clone cadets who had been left behind. The whole situation gives off a bit of a vibe like "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome," although there are...

With the actors strike now in the rearview mirror, Hollywood productions will be ramping up once again in the coming weeks — including for the highly anticipated final season of Stranger Things.
Star David Harbour confirmed that he will soon be returning to set, acknowledging that in the 24 hours since the strike ended he’s been “getting a lot of calls” about getting his schedule set.
“I just love that show and I love that [Jim Hopper] character so much; it’s the last season and I’m looking forward to just diving in with my whole heart into this guy that, certainly career wise, has made a huge difference in my life but personally, has been the character in film and TV who I’ve loved the most, that I’ve fallen in love with,” Harbour told The Hollywood Reporter at Thursday night’s BoxLunch Holiday Gala. “I’m excited...

With "Attack of the Clones" celebrating its 20th anniversary (he types before he crumbles into an ancient pile of old man dust), there's a big focus on the often derided second prequel at this year's "Star Wars" Celebration. There are panels, signers on the autograph floor, "Attack of the Clones" merchandise, Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor taking a victory lap in the wake of "Obi-Wan Kenobi," the works.
Part of this focus was a panel that included "Attack of the Clones" cast members Temuera Morrison and Daniel Logan, who played Jango and Boba Fett in the second film, respectively. Logan was...

Temuera Morrison is 60 years old. Ming-Na Wen is 58. They are not at the age where many actors would be asked to play an action hero. Yet here both are on The Book of Boba Fett, her chasing assassins across rooftops in last week’s series premiere, and him robbing a train in this week’s episode. Nice work if you can get it — and if you can do it as well as these two can.

Boba Fett’s return last season on The Mandalorian finally confirmed an idea that was long-reflected across decades of Star Wars comics and novels, that being his escape from an alleged millennium of digestion within the belly of the dreaded Sarlacc. While clues were visible on Boba’s face, a full explanation about how he eluded that Return of the Jedi-dealt fate was not provided. Fortunately, it appears that imminent spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett is bringing the answers.
Temuera Morrison’s manifestation as Boba Fett fulfils a franchise destiny, with the actor having played the cloned character’s genetic template father, Jango Fett, in 2002 Star Wars Prequel Trilogy middle act Attack of the Clones, in which Daniel Logan played a child Boba. Poetically, Boba’s adult arc on The Mandalorian Season 2 saw the bounty hunter building himself back to form from his horrific, anti-climactic, identity-stripping tumble...

"Despite his lack of screen time, next to no dialogue – he's everywhere." Disney has revealed the official trailer for their exciting 20-min documentary special called Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett. This fun film is a look back at how awesome Boba Fett is, not only in the original trilogy and especially Return of the Jedi, but how much fans have turned him into an iconic bounty hunter over the years. It's also a promotion for the upcoming The Book of Boba Fett series on Disney+, which is picking up where they left off in The Mandalorian and Rotj, with Fett taking over the Hutt's realm on Tatooine. In the original Rotj, Fett was played by British actor Jeremy Bulloch. In the prequels, Temuera Morrison played his father Jango, with Daniel Logan as a younger Boba. And now Temuera Morrison is taking over for the upcoming Book of Boba Fett series.

Stage and screen actor who played the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the Star Wars films
Jeremy Bulloch, who has died aged 75, was a busy character actor who staked a claim for cinematic immortality by playing the inscrutable Boba Fett in the Star Wars films. A masked, enigmatic bounty hunter with a jet pack and distinctive costume design, Boba Fett debuted in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), capturing and carbon-freezing Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in order to convey him to the slug-like paymaster Jabba the Hutt.
Despite relatively limited screen time and dialogue (his few lines were post-dubbed by the American actor Jason Wingreen), both Bulloch and Boba Fett became much loved contributors to the franchise and he reprised the role in Return of the Jedi (1983). In the eventual Star Wars prequels Boba Fett was played by the child actor Daniel Logan, and so Bulloch was instead hired to play the...

It’s a sad irony that Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch died mere hours before the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian. Bulloch was under the helmet and armor in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, his performance helping make the bounty hunter one of the most interesting and enigmatic characters in Star Wars. The impact of his Boba Fett is keenly felt in the smash hit Disney+ show, too, with Temuera Morrison taking over the role to amazing effect and set to continue it in a dedicated spinoff.
Tributes have been flooding in from his Star Wars colleagues all week as well. Billy Dee Williams said “today we lost the best bounty hunter in the galaxy,” Mark Hamill described him as “the quintessential English gentleman” and Daniel Logan (who played the young Boba in Attack of the Clones) stated: “Conventions won’t be the same without you.

Tributes poured in on Sunday for David Prowse, the British bodybuilder-turned-actor best known for embodying Darth Vader in the original “Star Wars” film trilogy. Prowse died at age 85, following a battle with prostate cancer.

I don’t envy the filmmakers who attempt to make a prequel to any beloved franchise. On top of having to reverse engineer a story that already has a predetermined end-point, those behind the project run the risk of demystifying fan-favorite characters by telling an origin story that’s often less interesting than the moves that came before it. The often-cited prime example of this is the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, which centered on a young and temperamental Anakin Skywalker before he turned into Darth Vader.
Yet, Skywalker wasn’t the only classic character whose roots were retold on the big screen. Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones introduces a ten-year-old Boba Fett, the silently enigmatic bounty hunter who first appeared as an adult in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, as the son of a contracted killer named Jango who also served as the genetic template for the Clone army.

There was a lot of very justified wailing when Disney cancelled Star Wars: The Clone Wars, with the studio claiming that they wanted to “pursue a new direction in animated programming.” After a rocky start, the show developed into an unexpectedly compelling watch with some all-time fan favorite Star Wars characters. Not to mention that it was happy to explore some very strange corners of that galaxy far, far away that you’d never see in a film.
Most had assumed that Disney cancelled it as part of the continuity shake-up that saw the Expanded Universe thrown in the trash and various in progress projects being cancelled. But now, according to Boba Fett’s voice actor Daniel Logan, the studio axed it because of concerns about violence and the increasingly adult tone.

When you think about it, Darth Maul and Boba Fett have quite a few things in common. They both had stints as villains in Star Wars movies in which they had very few lines of dialogue, and yet both managed to garner considerable fanbases that have ensured their stories extend way beyond the films. In fact, the enthusiasm for both characters remains so strong that Disney has been willing to grant each of them a return to live action cinema – Maul in Solo: A Star Wars Story and Fett in his own planned standalone pic.

Last week brought the news that fan favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett is the next Star Wars character to get his own solo spinoff movie, with Logan director James Mangold and Star Wars Rebels co-creator Simon Kinberg providing the script. Fans haven’t wasted any time in picking their ideal candidate to resurrect the Mandalorian assassin, either, as Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi has become one of the top choices.
The reasons why Waititi would be a great pick are pretty obvious. Apart from his boundless charisma, the prequels previously established that Boba Fett’s portrayed by Maori actors, as New Zealand-born Daniel Logan played the role as a child in Attack of the Clones, the first time Fett’s face was revealed. What’s more, he would also look the part.

The universe continues to expand. Just a day before “Solo” hits theaters, IndieWire has learned that Boba Fett will be the next character to receive a standalone movie of his own. “Logan” helmer James Mangold is writing and directing the spinoff, which follows “The Force Awakens,” “Rogue One,” “The Last Jedi,” “Solo,” and an upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi project in the current generation of “Star Wars” movies. The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news.
First introduced in “The Empire Strikes Back,” Fett quickly became a fan favorite despite doing very little and promptly dying a slow, agonizing death in “Return of the Jedi.” We learned more about the character in “Attack of the Clones,” which revealed the contract killer to be a clone of Jango Fett — whose decapitation in front of his clone/son apparently inspires young Boba to turn to a life of crime.

Star Wars has teamed up with Ibm to bring a really cool video series to the internet called Science and Star Wars. This series tackles technological topics from the Star Wars universe and looks to see how close our world is getting to that tech. They’ve talked about Robotic Limbs, Bacta Tanks and Carbonite, and now they talk about the most famous bounty hunter from Star Wars, Boba Fett. In this video, they discuss some of the tools Boba uses in the Star Wars films including his armor, helmet, jetpack, and most importantly, the wrist flamethrower.
To add to this excitement, they get Daniel Logan who played young Boba Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones to come in and use a knife, a laser, and even a mini flamethrower on a dummy of Boba Fett that uses Kevlar armor to test the effectiveness of these weapons.

With the debut today of the sixth episode of the excellent web series Star Trek Continues, Cinelinx looks at one of the most outstanding fan-fiction projects being produced today, as it reaches its third year. This show is not only a superb tribute to the original Star Trek, it’s a well-made and entertaining series in its own right.
Any fan of the original Star Trek TV series should enjoy this impressive follow-up, which continues the Five Year Mission of the USS Enterprise. It picks up after the last episode of the original show “Turnabout Intruder” (The final scene of which is recreated in a short video vignette that precedes the series) and chronicles the 4th year of Captain Kirk and his crew going where no man has gone before.

It's 1966 and the sexual revolution is heating up - thanks, in part, to the stunning sex study completed by Bill Masters and Virginia Johnson.
Season 3 of Showtime's "Masters of Sex" begins five years after last year's finale, with collaborators/lovers Bill (Michael Sheen) and Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) ready to take their published study on the road.
Still in the picture is Bill's wife, Libby (Caitlin Fitzgerald), though she seems to have undergone her own sexual awakening over the years. As the trailer shows, she was always curious about "what it felt like ... with you" - meaning Libby!
This season introduces a major new character played by former "Good Wife" star Josh Charles. Daniel Logan is a businessman looking to sell the "smell of sex" in a bottle, and his relationship to the couple - particularly Virginia - becomes complicated. We'll also meet Virginia's parents, as played by Frances Fisher and Michael O'Keefe.

After "The Good Wife," he appeared in a couple of episodes of "Inside Amy Schumer," but this is his first major TV series role since Will Gardner.

Josh Charles is becoming one of the Masters. The former Good Wife star has joined Showtime’s Masters of Sex for a major Season 3 arc. Per TVLine, Charles will play Daniel Logan in Masters‘ third season, “a self-made businessman working in the scent industry. In an attempt to bottle the smell of sex and market an aphrodisiac to the general public, Dan seeks out Masters and Johnson’s expertise on desire.
