In the 20's she appeared again in many productions in front of the camera, whereas she also impersonated smaller roles sometimes.
The actress Rose Liechtenstein (also Lichtenstein) began a stage career in Meiningen in 1909, later followed engagements in Düsseldorf and Berlin.
After Fritz Lang's first sound film "M" (1931)- with a genial Peter Lorre in the leading role- she dedicated again to the theater exclusively but only till 1933.
She launched her film career from 1916 and took part in numerous movies in the next years.
With the upcoming National Socialists she had to leave Germany and went to Palästina. There she was able to start a second theater career and founded the Theatron Kameri.
