- She turned down the part in GoldenEye (1995) that was later played by Famke Janssen.

- In the late 1980s, early 1990s, she was in a long-term relationship with Volker Schlöndorff. He planned to cast her as Hildegard Knef in a movie based on Knef's autobiography, "The Gift Horse". Bernd Eichinger was going to produce the film which was finally made almost twenty years later as Hilde (2009) with Heike Makatsch in the title role.
