- Canadian leading lady of British cinema in the 1940's. Acted from the age of fifteen with Winnipeg's Little Theatre, subsequently studying at RADA. In England, she performed with the Croydon Repertory Company for a year before moving on to the London stage. In films, she made appearances opposite Stewart Granger and James Mason.
