Steps star Ian “H” Watkins has responded after thousands of fans found that they had been blocked by him on Twitter.
For the past few days, many have been tweeting their bewilderment on realising that the singer appeared to have blocked them.
Some who were blocked said they didn’t even know who Watkins was. One person tweeted: “I too have been blocked by H from Steps. And I have no idea who H is or who Steps are.”
The move led to the hashtag “BlockedByHFromSteps” trending on Twitter, with Watkins eventually explaining in a since-deleted post: “I recently signed up for a clean-up of ‘bots’ and ‘phobes’. Apologies if the blocking offended… I didn’t do this manually! Merry Christmas.”

“RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” is back and the queens of season 3 have all the charisma, uniqueness, nerve or talent you could ask for. In last week’s third episode, Veronica Green made an earlier-than-anticipated exit from the competition once again. After devoting all her time helping her peers during a camping couture design challenge, Veronica’s own creation was too much of a mess to impress the judges. She lost in a lip sync against Vanity Milan, who fell in the bottom two for the second straight week, while Scarlett Harlett was able to break Krystal Versace‘s two-week winning streak with a win of her own.
On Thursday’s fourth episode, the queens form two girl groups to test whether a “top pop” or “power bottom” mix of a new song has more big drag energy, all in front of living legend Baby Spice. Read below for our recap...

Brit horror Paintball Massacre sees a bunch of old school friends go on a paintball trip miles away from civilization. Things go horribly wrong when they discover that not only are their old school “friends” playing the game but also a cold-blooded masked killer…
High school reunions in movies never go right do they? Be it comedy or horror, school reunions tend to feature people harbouring unforgiven betrayals, long-standing hatreds, and stir up emotions that many have buried deep, forgetting the traumas of school life until they come face to face with people long-since forgotten. Its even worse when one of the class mates has turned into a total psychopath and want to take hatred of their school “friends” to a whole new level.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer hit the internet overnight and Twitter got very, very excited indeed.
The best of all the reactions though came from Lee Latchford-Evans, of '90s/'00s pop superstars Steps.

"I've always loved StarWars since I was a young boy but I never knew Chewy & Han Solo loved 'Tragedy'," he quipped.
Steps of course covered the Bee Gees' disco smash 'Tragedy' and took it to the top of the charts in 1999, complete with that classic dance routine in the video
You can relive Han and Chewbacca doing that 'Tragedy' pose with this snazzy animated gif:

Emotions ran high after the clip arrived, with many fans - famous or otherwise - tearing up at the first full length clip.
Digital Spy rounds up some of the best reactions below (and don't be surprised if all that excitement brings out the odd bit of strong language...):

Claire Richards has revealed that she once almost had an affair with Dane Bowers. The Steps singer was married to dancer Mark Webb at the time, she explained in her autobiography All of Me, currently being serialised in The Sun. She had been told that the former Another Level singer had a crush on her by her bandmate Lee Latchford-Evans, and spent the night together in a hotel room after a wedding. "Years before he'd told Lee that he fancied me, but nothing came of it because he was dating Katie Price," she wrote. "At the end of the night I got a cab back to the hotel with Dane, and we both said goodnight and went our separate ways. "When I got back to my room I wasn't ready for the night to end, so I decided to knock on Dane's door and ask him if he could help me undo my dress!

Claire Richards has revealed more details about her weight issues during her time in Steps. The singer recalls her battle with anorexia and weight dysmorphia in her new autobiography All of Me, which is being serialised in The Sun. Richards wrote that when she first joined the pop group in the mid-1990s along with Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian 'H' Watkins, she was told to lose weight despite only being a size 10. "Before I got into the band I was made to promise I would lose weight. I was ten stone at the time - not big, especially as I'm 5ft 6in. It was the first time I was conscious that perhaps I was bigger than the other girls but I didn't dwell on it. The 'S&M' singer was partying at Whisky Mist in Mayfair after her concert at The 02 arena on Sunday (13.11.11) to celebrate her brother Rorrey's 22nd birthday and after Rihanna led the revellers in a singsong, she took it upon herself to offer some wise words for the bedroom.
She said: "I left home at 16 and had to learn to look after myself. But now we're back friends stronger than ever. Always use a condom."
Generous Rihanna splashed out on 15 bottles of champagne and six bottles of vodka for her brother and other revellers and then allowed Rorrey to continue partying with his friends and a bevy of beauties at her suite at The Savoy hotel.
A source said: "Rihanna is the best big sister. She sorted for all these girls to accompany her brother back to her hotel, along with friends of his too. They had a great time and she treated them like kings.

The fifth game of the NBA finals is on tonight and if you've been following along at all, you'll know that the series is tied up at 2-2. The games I've seen so far (the first three, I missed the last one because of work and will be missing tonight's game for the same reason) have been back and forth the whole time and incredibly exciting. Except I don't really want exciting, because I'd just like the Heat to win. Frankly, it's probably a little better for my sanity that I won't be able to get any information on the game other than what the little Espn app on my phone is able to tell me. Anyone who's not watching basketball tonight, I hope you're either big "So You Think You Can Dance" fans or have some nice DVDs to get through because otherwise you're Sol. Here's Thursday night's TV:...

Faye Tozer has claimed that pop band Steps are "closer friends" now than when they were together. The pop collective - which featured Tozer, Claire Richards, 'H', Lee Latchford-Evans and Lisa Scott-Lee - scored 14 consecutive top five singles before splitting in 2001. Tozer said that the five-piece now regularly speak and email each other, admitting that old tensions are now "water under the bridge" for the band. "I would say that we are probably closer friends now than when we were together because we have more in common," she told Digital Spy. "There is water under the bridge from back in the day and we are very supportive of each other. The girls have got kids now, so that makes it important to stay in touch. It's not something that we can brush aside because the band was such a huge part (more)...

Former pop stars Lee Latchford-Evans and Michelle Heaton have defended Cheryl Cole’s performance on last week’s X Factor show.
The former Liberty X singer, Michelle Heaton told The Sun: “I don’t know whether she pre-recorded it, but it was a live vocal, so technically it was live performance. She sounded good and her dancing was fabulous.
“There’s a divide in opinion about how well Cheryl did but most of people criticising her are either jealous or haven’t taken to Cheryl.”
Ex-Steps star Lee Latchford-Evans added: “It’s not to do with her performing skills or her talent, it’s how to get herself out there and build the Cheryl Cole brand.
“She did as well as she could do. She’s no Mariah Carey but she’s a great performer and I thought the routine was fantastic.”...
