The Life And Murder Of Nicole Brown Simpson is a two-part documentary set to premiere on Lifetime, in early June.
Most people know or recall the devastating murder of Nicole Brown, wife of the late O.J. Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman, which occurred close to three decades ago on June 12, 1994.
Nicole was 35 at the time, while Goldman was 25. The two were both found dead outside Ms. Brown’s townhouse in L.A. Meanwhile Nicole and O.J.’s two kids, Justin and Sydney, aged 5 and 8 respectively (at the time), were asleep in the home during the murders.
The media frenzy when the murders were announced, as well as the trial, was like something never seen before.
The public had its eyes glued to the television during the trial. The shock of the verdict caused an outcry. O.J. was represented by a vast legal team, with his friend, attorney,...

Shania Twain’s career has been overshadowed for decades by her ex-husband Robert John “Mutt” Lange’s cheating scandal.
Despite the fact that he committed the ultimate betrayal, the country music legend seems to have forgiven her ex and former bestie Marie-Anne Thiebaud.
She’s a better person than any of us. Keep reading for all the details, here’s what Shania Twain had to say about Mutt.

A newly released rough mix of “Photograph” from Def Leppard’s archives shows a different side to the Number One rock chart hit. Where the version that came out on Pyromania and dominated rock radio in 1983 finds the band singing “Photograph” and Joe Elliott responding, “I don’t want your … / I don’t need your …” the rough mix has less vocals and more space. It sounds almost like a new wave song with more prominent (and funkier) bass, less reverb, and a lot more jangly guitar in the chorus. The cowbell remains the same.

Shania Twain’s ability to combine pop melodies, country sounds, and meaningful lyrics took her to the top of the charts for over a decade. It’s always interesting to hear a gifted artist explain how they hone their craft, and Twain did just that during a recent podcast interview. With such an extensive career, does she have a favorite Shania Twain song herself?
It turns out, her favorite song she’s written remains her first big single.

Shania Twain has survived a lot. She and her two sisters, Jill and Carrie Ann, grew up in poverty, often going to school hungry due to lack of food. Her circumstances were made worse by the actions of her stepfather, who sexually abused Twain and assaulted her mother.

Bryan Adams rose to fame and success as a rock everyman. Even when he was No 1 in the UK for 16 weeks with “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You”, the clip that Top of the Pops showed over and over again featured Adams looking less like a rock star than a man who’s realised he has to pop back to B&Q for some more creosote. In the Eighties, when being a gruff-voiced man of the people from North America (Adams is Canadian) was a desirable trait in a rock star, he became enormous – his 1984 album Reckless sold five million copies in the US alone – but he never seemed to be a rock star. He was big; he just didn’t project it.
The irony is that Adams is not and was not an everyman. His life was not and is not like yours. He was an army brat as a kid,...

Shania Twain is back with a new album and a new tour! The singer's new album Now, is out this Friday, Sept. 29. But before the record is released, the superstar sat down for an exclusive interview with E! News' Catt Sadler to talk about her health, her recovery and the story behind Now. Now is Twain's fifth album, her first in 15 years since the release of Up! in November 2002. Since that time, a lot has happened in Twain's life both personally and professionally. Twain went through a highly-publicized split in 2008 with Mutt Lange, who was allegedly having an affair with Marie-Anne Thiébauld, Twain's assistant and best friend at the time. Twain heard the news...

It's been 15 years since Shania Twain released an album, and now the long wait is finally coming to an end... The 51-year-old country singer announced she'll be releasing her next album, Now, in September. Along with it, she dropped her first single in five years. The song, "Life's About to Get Good," is an upbeat, uplifting tune with a lesson about the roller coaster we call life. Twain previously opened up about how the song was motivated by the emotions she felt during her divorce from her former husband Mutt Lange—who she split from in 2010—and moving forward afterward. "I wasn't just broken, I was shattered/ I trusted you so much, you're all...

Hanging out over coffee with Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott at the legendary rock 'n' roll hotel Sunset Marquis was already a great start to our morning -- what made it even better was Elliott himself. Laid-back, charming and happy to riff on any subject we lobbed at him, he talked candidly about rocking out after fifty, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Def Leppard's upcoming tour with Kiss, and plenty more. Given how much we loved talking to his band mate Phil Collen, how can we decide which member of the band was a better guest? We can't and yeah, no reason to do it. They're both awesome -- and Elliott had so much to say, we couldn't bring ourselves to cut him off for some arbitrary time limit. Thus, you get part one and part two of our chat with him (part two will be next week). You're welcome.

Adele took home every accolade under the sun for her blockbuster sophomore album 21, but she just earned another: The young songstress' album was just certified Diamond, meaning it has sold 10x million copies. The last album to sell 10 million in under two years was 'N Sync's No Strings Attached, which came out in 2000. Wow. You're old.
This got me thinking: There aren't too many female solo acts who've sold 10x million copies of a single album. How do they stack up in quality? I've ranked my picks for the best ten below, and hopefully it'll inspire you to scream and complain. (Note: I haven't included bands with female singers, obviously. Last week we asked you two questions, and the answer to both was Lady Gaga’s “Heavy Metal Lover.” “Lover” took over 51 percent in our poll of your favorite songs of 2011 (so far), and now we can reveal the track also bested “Scheiße,” “Marry the Night” and “You and I” as the song you’d most like to see be her next single.
“Lover” left its competition in the dust, scoring nearly 50 percent of the vote. “Scheiße,” Gaga’s thumping meditation on how powerful women are treated by society, came in second with just over 36 percent.

So summer is just around the corner and the concert season is heating up! Within just these past three weeks since our latest New Music Mix, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to catch Yelle otherwise known as the French equation to Robyn, British musical prodigy James Blake with Active Child, and Swedish indie singer Lykke Li live in concert. I have not had quite as much fun at a show (probably since first seeing Robyn in concert) as I did when I saw Yelle. Going into Yelle’s show I was only familiar with a few of her songs. The Tepr remix of “A Cause des Garcons” was posted on Perezhilton.com a few years ago and I knew that this gal had something special, especially after the video went so viral.

All were equally awesome in their own right.

There are 22 new tracks to love! But does it live up to the monster success of ‘The Fame’?
After having a taste of infectious tunes like ‘Judas’ and the title track ‘Born this Way,’ Lady Gaga fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of her full album. While some outlets have given Lady Gaga‘s sophomore effort less than rave reviews, plenty of little monsters are sure to have it on repeat tonight!
The fast-paced and controversial ‘Judas’ reminds us of Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ days and the catchy chorus — ‘I’m still in love with Judas, baby’ — will have people singing to themselves.
Mother Monster often looks outward for influence, even channeling 80s Madonna in the super-fun track ‘Bad Kids.’
She takes on Latin music in ‘Americano,’ singing part of it in Spanish. (You’ll also hear French and German in her repertoire.)
And no, iTunes didn’t make a mistake.

Call it a home team advantage, but American critics seem to have nothing but glowing things to say about reigning pop princess Lady Gaga’s latest release, “Born This Way,” which dropped this morning. (European critics weren’t quite as cheery in their reviews of the album last week.) Comparisons with 1980s-era Madonna are rampant – most critics drop at least one Material Girl mention – and an NPR reviewer went as far as to compare Gaga to 1960s-era Bob Dylan.

Little Monsters, the wait is over! After almost a year since Lady Gaga first dished out details about the project, her Born This Way album has finally arrived.
With endorsement deals from Starbucks, Google and Zynga's "FarmVille," Gaga and her team have crafted an over-the-top marketing plan to make sure everyone under the sun knows that the LP has hit stores. As one of the year's most anticipated releases, Born This Way is expected to debut with high sales ranging from 450,000 to 750,000 copies, according to Billboard estimates.
Much like her costumes, performances and everything else that is Lady Gaga, critics have noted (and mostly praised) the immensity of Born This Way, while name-dropping Madonna every other review. For a deeper look at...

Shania Twain went from country music hit maker to tabloid headline fodder when her 14-year marriage suddenly came crashing down. And now, the 45-year-old singer has revealed to Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson brand new painful details about her ex-husband's alleged betrayal, and how she discovered the tragic news.
"My husband just said that our relationship is over and didn't necessarily want a divorce. Well, he said, 'I may not be in a rush to get a divorce,'" Shania told Shaun in a Los Angeles interview on Thursday, referring to her now-ex, Mutt Lange. "But you certainly can't have your ...

Shania Twain opened up to Ellen DeGeneres Thursday about her new memoir, "From This Moment On", and her heartbreaking divorce from producer Mutt Lange.
She revealed that it was Frederic Thiebaud -- her new husband -- who told her about Lange's affair with Thiebaud's then-wife Marie-Anne, a close friend of Twain's.
"Of course I didn’t believe him and I thought for sure he was making it up," she said. "It was obviously just denial on my part. But he just said, 'You know I have proof if you want it, and I've been following it now for a few weeks and I’ve got hotel bills and all kinds of details.'"
After confronting Marie-Ann about the affair, and eventually separating from Lange in May 2008, Twain began "a very slow grieving process," during which she and Frederic Thiebaud leaned on each other.
"It was a very difficult time emotionally for both of us.

Shania Twain has been speaking out lately, but more noticeably, she hasn't been doing any singing. And there's a reason for that. "I had reached a point in my life where there was a bottleneck, physically, in my throat," she said in a sit-down with E! News Thursday. "Something had to give." It turned out that years of suppressing and repressing her voice—and emotions—had damaged her vocal cords, and a condition called dysphonia, literally a difficulty in speaking, manifested itself when the proverbial stuff hit the fan with ex-hubby Mutt Lange. "I've only just discovered what's wrong," Twain, who recently remarried, said. "Next comes rehabilitation,...

Country singer Shania Twain is hopeful of one day patching up her strained relationship with cheating ex-husband Mutt Lange, because she will "always" love the father of her child. Producer Lange dumped the country music star for her best friend and assistant, Marie-Anne Thiebaud, in 2008.
Twain admits relations between her and Lange are still strained three years on, but she hopes they will one day become friends again so they can better raise their nine-year-old son, Eja. She tells People magazine, "It would be nice to be friends and not just co-parents... I will always love him. You can't just turn love on and off. (But) I will never be Ok with what they did."
Twain went on to fall in love and marry Frederic Thiebaud - Marie-Anne's spurned ex-husband - and the singer insists she is grateful to have found happiness after so much heartache. She adds, "It is twisted.

When I left her, I thought [to myself], ‘You’re such a wimp, you coward!’ That was my big moment, and I blew it!” We completely understand Twain’s regret. On the other had, if she’d handled it the way we would have handled it, all the other customers at Applebee’s would have had their dinners ruined. So it’s really a coin-toss.

In back-to-back television interviews, Shania Twain broke her silence on her divorce from producer Mutt Lange, which she details in her recently published memoir, "From This Moment On."
The notoriously private singer, who separated from Lange in May 2008 after discovering he was having an affair with her close friend Marie-Anne Thiebaud, told Oprah Tuesday that she "begged" Thiebaud to leave her and her family alone. Both Thiebaud and Lange have denied their alleged infidelities.
Noting that "we all have pathetic moments," Twain read an excerpt from her memoir that contains a letter she sent Thiebaud after finding out about the affair.
"I loved him so much, and I can’t cope anymore. I don’t want life or love anymore, I just want peace," she writes. "Why are you torturing me? Let it go, please. If you could see me crying and suffering, maybe you would have pity."

Los Angeles, CA, United States (Ahn Entertainment) - Shania Twain has opened up about her painful experience with the men in her life. The country music star has revealed the pain of her ex-husband's infidelity and the physical and sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of her stepfather in her memoir.

In a Tuesday (May 3) visit to "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Shania Twain opened up about the betrayal she felt when she learned that Mutt Lange -- now her ex-husband -- was having an affair with her best friend, Marie-Anne Thiebaud.
"I lost my sense of trust, honesty and compassion," said Twain. "I crashed down and became what I consider an emotional mess. I've never been so miserable in my whole life. I just wanted to go to bed and never get up."
In an unforeseeable twist, Twain actually ended up marrying Thiebaud's ex-husband, Frederic Thiebaud.
"It was twisted," she admitted, "but so beautifully twisted. I really can't complain. I've got a beautiful man."

Ever since Maroon 5 arrived in 2002 with its multi-platinum debut “Songs About Jane,” the group has blended pop, rock and funk in a pleasing, but unedgy fashion. For third album, “Hands All Over” (and its first since 2007’s “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long”) the quintet enlisted producer Mutt Lange, best known for his work with Def Leppard and Shania Twain, who brings a pristine, high-gloss sheen to the band’s already crisp sound. First single, “Misery,” took some time to grow on me, but the Top 10 hit showcases the best of Maroon 5: nimble, clean playing, catchy choruses and...

Welcome to Adam Levine’s fantasy... pretty stereotypical stuff. For the video for “Give a Little More,” Levine and his Maroon 5 bandmates play a house party before an audience of mainly writhing females, who are driven to some girl on girl action and light bondage by the very sound of Levine’s voice. This is all delivered without the slightest sense of irony. Yawn. Same reaction to the song, which starts with a funky, kicking bass line, before fading into mediocrity. We were hoping for more from the Maroon 5/Mutt Lange marriage. If the first two clips from the band’s forthcoming album,...
