Following a week dominated by resurfaced revelations about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s brain worm, the parasite itself made a guest appearance during Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update.
The worm — played by Sarah Sherman — first talked about what drew it to Rfk Jr.’s brain. “Look at this guy, what worm wouldn’t love this? He looks like a pack of chicken thighs got left out in the sun,” it said. “Then check out his face: He looks like someone left Bruce Springsteen in the microwave for too long.

Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” segment leaned into the brain worm that U.S. presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said got into his head.
Sarah Sherman had the honors of dressing up as a worm and took a jab at Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval, who became known as “the worm with a mustache” after co-star James Kennedy yelled that out during the Season 10 reunion.
“Rfk’s body was a worm’s paradise,” Sherman said as the brain worm. “Not a single drop of vaccine in sight. My whole parasite posse hung out in there. Shoutout to hookworm… that fish that swims up your pee stream and my man, Tom Sandoval.”
Sandoval remains in infamy after his cheating scandal exploded into the mainstream. The Bravo star had been in an almost decade-long relationship with co-star Ariana Madix and was exposed to be having an affair with another co-star,...

It was all about mothers at the top of this week’s pre-Mother’s Day Saturday Night Live.
The variety show dispensed with its typical topical cold open for one that featured SNL castmembers sharing moments with their moms.
Kenan Thompson kicked off the show, appearing on the Studio 8H stage with his mom because, he said, “it’s “Mother’s Day in about 29 minutes,” which, she declared, meant there was still “plenty of time to buy a gift.”
“With so many upsetting stories in the world right now, we thought we’d take a break from a regular cold open and hear some heartwarming stories from our moms instead.”
Still Thompson’s mom said she wanted to see who would play Stormy Daniels in a cold open focused on the porn star’s testimony in former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial. That wasn’t the only reference to...

Stephen King may be an unquestionable master of the horror genre, but his storytelling reaches a whole new level when it comes to the proclaimed author’s dramatic narrative.
Behind the immense popularity of King’s eerie novels It, Carrie or The Shining, there are some truly brilliant pieces of his work like Stand by Me, The Green Mile or The Shawshank Redemption that for some reason went more into the scary stories’ shadows.
King’s drama novels nonetheless prove themselves to be a lot deeper regarding some mundane aspects, and Hulu’s unfairly forgotten miniseries appears to be a good example for it.
What Is 11.22.63 About?
Based on King’s 2011 novel of the same name, Hulu’s sci-fi drama show 11.22.63 follows Jake Epping, a recently divorced English teacher living in Maine (just like Stephen King’s many other fictional characters). Out of nowhere Jake is given a one-in-a-million...

It’s become satirical shorthand to refer to someone with nutty ideas as having “brain worms.” This being the American presidential campaign of the year 2024, news emerged this week that third-party candidate and noted anti-vaxxer conspiracy kook Robert F. Kennedy Jr actually had part of his brain devoured by a now-deceased worm. So comedy is likewise dead, obviously. But that didn’t keep late-night hosts from digging into the story about Kennedy’s documented bout with what’s theorized to be neurocysticercosis, a parasitic condition caused by pork tapeworms and characterized by everything from seizures to memory loss.
Now nobody is saying outright that there’s a worm-related brain-hole driving the longtime proponent of such conspiracy nonsense as vaccines causing autism, Covid-19 being engineered by scientists,...

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has disclosed a series of health issues he has faced in recent years, one of which involves a worm-like parasite that entered his brain but ultimately died.
Kennedy, 70, recounted his severe memory loss and mental fog in 2010, which prompted him to consult renowned neurologists familiar with his late uncle Sen. Ted Kennedy’s medical history. After a brain scan, a New York doctor suggested that Kennedy’s health problems could potentially be attributed to a worm that had entered his brain and consumed a portion of it before it died. In a deposition related to his divorce from his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, in 2012, Kennedy expressed that these cognitive issues had negatively impacted his earning potential.
In that same period, Kennedy also experienced mercury poisoning, a condition associated with neurological symptoms such as peripheral vision loss, muscle weakness, movement difficulties, hearing and speech impairment,...

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says a doctor once suspected a worm literally ate part of his brain, according to a new report from The New York Times.
According to the Times, in a 2012 deposition related to divorce proceedings against his second wife, Rfk Jr. detailed a litany of health concerns he said would diminish his future earnings potential. Among these was an incident in which Kennedy’s doctors identified a dark spot in one of his brain scans after he raised concerns of memory fog and impaired cognitive ability.

Kevin Spacey’s lawyers were in court in London Tuesday, May 7, cleaning up a mistake that would’ve left the actor facing a default judgment declaring him liable in a civil sexual assault suit, Variety reports.
Spacey’s attorneys successfully overturned the default judgment, setting the stage for a trial that will likely take place in 2025 (an exact date hasn’t been announced yet). The civil suit was filed by a man, who claims he “suffered psychiatric damage and other financial loss” after Spacey sexually assaulted him in Aug. 2008.

While Joe Biden and Donald Trump have kept their in-person campaigning to a minimum so far this election cycle, third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has done everything he can do steal the spotlight, holding event after event with celebrity supporters. Now he can add another to the roster: actor Kevin Spacey.
Spacey, who faced more than a dozen accusations of sexual misconduct or assault since the #MeToo movement gripped the culture in 2017, appeared to indicate in a tweet on Monday that Kennedy had been there for him at his lowest.

Former President Donald Trump is ramping up his attacks on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the complex presidential campaign heats up.
On Truth Social, Trump wrote Kennedy is “far more Liberal than anyone running as a Democrat, including West and Stein,” referencing other third-party candidates Cornel West and Jill Stein.
Without any evidence, Trump claimed that Kennedy was pushed out of the Democratic Party “because he was taking primary votes away” from President Joe Biden.
“Rfk Jr. is a Democrat’ Plant,’ a Radical Left Liberal who’s been put in place in order to help Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the History of the United States, get Re-Elected,” Trump wrote. “A Vote for Junior’ would essentially be a Wasted Protest Vote that could swing either way but would only swing against the Democrats if Republicans knew the true story about him. Here we go again. Apparently not content with his ongoing feud with Jimmy Kimmel, Donald Trump added two more Late Nighters to his enemies list this weekend.
Trump took to Truth Social with his take on the latest episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, which featured an interview with third-party presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. While the post was mostly aimed at Rfk Jr., Trump made sure to get a couple barbs in at Maher first.
“I actually watched, first time in a long time, ratings challenged Bill Maher’s really boring interview with Rfk Jr. last night,” Trump wrote in a Sunday morning post.
Despite Trump’s claims to the contrary, in fact Maher’s program recently doubled its audience when CNN began rebroadcasting the Friday night HBO show Saturday nights in prime time.

When did Columbia become Kanye State? Bill Maher asked that question at the top of Friday’s Real Time on HBO, setting the tone for a show that focused on the national campus unrest and what’s behind it.
Maher attempted to answer that himself in his “New Rules” editorial, saying in a message to protesters blocking traffic in the name of a cause: “No one likes you.”
He contended that protesters fail to realize that they are not bringing people around to their point of view by making them late for work or from picking up a child from day care.
“You can glue your hands to the street, since your hands don’t have to do any work today,” Maher said, and claimed that for many social justice warriors, “It’s more about the warrioring than the causes.”

Rita Palma, a campaign consultant for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., stated that her top priority is to prevent Joe Biden from winning this year’s presidential election.
“Things, I guess, will change overtime because you do only pick one candidate at the end of the day,” Palma stated during a meeting with Republicans in New York.
“But the Kennedy voter and the [Donald Trump] voter – the enemy – our mutual enemy – is Biden,” she added. “Since Biden is counting on us with [Kennedy] in the mix, my – my thought is for the Republicans.”
“See Bobby – right now – he’s pulling from both sides,” she continued. “Right now, he’s actually pulling a bit more from Biden, which explains why the DNC [Democratic National Committee] is kind of ganging up on him. They have a special committee to go after independent candidates.”

When it comes to polarizing guests, Real Time With Bill Maher is set to hit the jackpot this week.
Late Wednesday, HBO announced that independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr will be Maher’s lead guest Friday, alongside former CNN anchor Don Lemon.
Kennedy has long been seen as a potential spoiler in the November election. Recent polls have him capturing anywhere from 2-16% of the electorate, although whether he draws more support away from Trump or Biden is matter of some debate.
An ex-democrat whose father was slain while running for president himself in 1968, Kennedy is arguably best known for his controversial embrace of a number of conspiracy theories.
Several of Kennedy’s own siblings have publicly denounced his run for the presidency, saying last fall “Bobby might share the same name as our father, but he does not share the same vision, values or judgment.”

On Thursday afternoon, members of the Kennedy endorsed President Joe Biden at a campaign rally in Philadelphia.
Biden’s rally in Philadelphia is the last major stop in a three-day swing through Pennsylvania.
During this trip, he laid out his economic and tax agenda and attacked former President Donald Trump as an enemy of working people.
Kennedy family members approached the Biden team and requested a joint event for the endorsements.
Joseph Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Rory Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Maxwell Kennedy and Christopher Kennedy backed Biden during this rally.
The event is a further rejection of their family member and independent presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The campaign of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that a fundraising email labeling the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot defendants as “activists” was a mistake.
These emails, which were sent to Kennedy’s supporters last week, called WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange a “political prisoner” and suggested that he and Capitol rioters were victims of an “outrageous miscarriage of justice.”
“Rarely do opposites attract, especially in Washington,” the email stated. “Yet regarding the case of Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder who is facing extradition to the U.S., both hard-right Marjorie Taylor Greene and hard-left Ilhan Omar Agree: We Must Free Assange Now!”
“The Brits want to make sure our government doesn’t kill Assange,” the letter claimed. “This is the reality that every American Citizen faces – from [Edward] Snowden to Julian Assange to the J6 activists sitting in a Washington D.C. jail cell stripped of their Constitutional liberties.”

Nicole Shanahan, the running mate of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has emerged as a prominent critic of in vitro fertilization (IVF). Her unwavering stance against IVF, which she describes as a “lie about women’s health,” has sparked both controversy and curiosity.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a reproductive procedure that involves fertilizing an egg with sperm in a controlled laboratory environment rather than inside the uterus. This intricate process encompasses careful monitoring and stimulation of the woman’s ovulation cycle, extraction of one or more eggs from the ovaries and the subsequent fertilization of these eggs by sperm.
Shanahan has simultaneously funded innovative research aimed at extending women’s reproductive years and exploring cost-effective interventions for conception.
The ex-wife of Google founder Sergey Brinn, Shanahan, is expected to pour millions into Kennedy’s campaign.
Shanahan, known for her outspoken views, has consistently voiced her concerns about the IVF industry.

Robert F. Kennedy claimed President Joe Biden is a more significant threat to democracy than his opponent, Donald Trump.
“A moment ago, you said you – you essentially see Trump and Biden as the same,” CNN news anchor Erin Burnet told Kennedy during an interview.
“But do you really believe that when people talk about the threat to democracy that Trump poses—do you really think that it is an equal evil to Biden?” Burnett then asked him.
“Listen, I make the argument that President Biden is a much worse threat to democracy,” he replied. “And the reason for that is President Biden is the first candidate – the first president in history that has used the federal agencies to censor political speech or censor his opponent.”
“You know, I can say that because I just want a case, a federal court of appeals now before the Supreme Court,” Rfk Jr. stated.

Independent presidential candidate Rober F. Kennedy Jr. has little chance of winning the 2024 election, but that isn’t stopping him from weighing in on the de facto Republican and Democratic nominees: former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.
On Monday, Kennedy told CNN that — in his view — Biden represents a bigger threat to American democracy than Trump, who attempted to overturn his election loss in 2020.
Burnett: When people talk about the threat to democracy that Trump poses, do you really think that that is as equal to Biden?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (Rfk) is making some major waves in the U.S. political scene as he throws his hat into the ring for the 2024 American presidential election, running as an independent candidate.
During a campaign event on Tuesday, March 26 in Oakland, California, he announced who his official vice-president would be, Nicole Shanahan.
More On Rfk Jr.’s Running Mate Nicole Shanahan
Nicole Shanahan is from Oakland, which makes sense around why Rfk Jr. chose that event to make his running mate announcement.
At the age of 38, she is a lawyer and philanthropist, and has never run for office before; however, was a noted supporter of Rfk Jr. and paid for his controversial Super Bowl ad this year.

Nicole Shanahan, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential running mate, is not only one of the most prominent critics of in vitro fertilization this election cycle — she has made it one of her life missions to change the narrative around the treatment.
As highlighted by Politico, Shanahan has called IVF “one of the biggest lies that’s being told about women’s health today,” according to an interview published in February by the Australian Financial Review.

The first major running mate announcement of the 2024 presidential election cycle came much earlier than usual this week, as White House hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. held an Oakland rally to make the big announcement, concluding weeks of speculation by introducing the young political neophyte to the nation and revealing that he may just have found the ideal addition to his long-shot ticket.
Nicole Shanahan — criminal justice attorney, Silicon Valley philanthropist, possible billionaire divorcée — is a native of Oakland who may just have the ideal rags-to-riches backstory for a political newcomer. Shanahan has spoken about growing up with a family that relied on food benefits and being raised by a schizophrenic father who had lifelong addiction issues. On Tuesday, she told the crowd of her days as an attorney, after completing a law degree a decade ago at Santa Clara University School of Law, working with artificial intelligence to push...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has selected Silicon Valley attorney turned philanthropist Nicole Shanahan as his running mate in an early-announcement move as the independent presidential hopeful seeks to get his name on ballots in all 50 states for his White House bid.
Kennedy, son of the former U.S. attorney general and senator from New York who was assassinated in 1968, announced that Shanahan would join his campaign at a rally in Oakland on Tuesday. The announcement of a running mate decision this early is a strategic move that looks to assuage some of the concerns around his ballot access in half of the country.
“Nicole has put her interest aside and made the momentous and very, very difficult decision to embark with me on this extraordinary crusade to win back our country,” Kennedy said while introducing Shanahan as his running mate. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has decided on a vice presidential running mate from a short list that includes NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura. According to his campaign manager, Kennedy is close to announcing his pick.
Other prospective candidates include Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and motivational speaker Tony Robbins, according to two anonymous people with knowledge of the campaign.
Not everyone on Kennedy’s list has agreed to run with him. Paul said that he would decline an offer to be on the presidential ticket.
“I’m supportive of his ability to have a platform to speak out,” Paul said. “I think he’s saying a lot of good things. But I have no plans to get involved in the campaign.”
Similarly, Gabbard has stopped cooperating with Kennedy’s campaign and has seemingly turned her attention to former President Donald Trump’s.

There have been rumors that New York Jets’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers might be part of the Presidential campaign for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. With those rumors come reports of things that Rodgers said in the past about several things. Rodgers has been outspoken about his belief in conspiracy theories for years and this includes the Sandy Hook school shooting.
However, Rodgers is walking back those comments now. Here is what the NFL quarterback and possible politician had to say about the horrific school shooting.
Aaron Rodgers Releases Statement About Sandy Hook
On December 14, 2012, a school shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut shook the nation. The shooting left 26 people dead, including 20 young children. It was the deadliest mass shooting at an elementary school in United States history. However, there were some people led by Alex Jones who claimed the shooting was faked.
Jones claimed there was no school shooting.

Aaron Rodgers’ storied NFL career has recently been overshadowed by his headfirst dive into vaccine conspiracy theories. The backlash to the prospective Robert F. Kennedy Jr. vice presidential pick reached a fever pitch this week in the wake of a report that the Jets quarterback is also a Sandy Hook truther.
On Thursday, Rodgers responded to a CNN report featuring interviews with two individuals — including CNN’s Pamela Brown — who told the outlet that the Super Bowl champion claimed Sandy Hook was staged. “Sandy Hook never happened … All those children never existed.

There’s nothing unusual about throwing a convention in Las Vegas. But RePlatform Vegas, held at the Horseshoe hotel on the Strip this past weekend, was remarkable in its very premise: the event aimed to gather influencers and brands fixated on the problem of perceived censorship and “cancel culture,” giving them a public stage on which they could describe to an admiring audience all the ways they’ve supposedly been silenced.
But it wasn’t always clear what attendees wanted to accomplish by airing familiar grievances about the consequences of expressing or amplifying controversial views.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. continued campaign fundraising in Los Angeles Wednesday night with a stand-up comedy event hosted by the independent presidential candidate’s wife and actress Cheryl Hines.
The A Night of Laughter With Rfk Jr. & Friends evening at the Million Dollar Theater included performances by Jeremy Piven, Bobby Lee, Rob Schneider, Tre Stewart, Mike Binder, Erica Rhodes, Dustin Ybarra and radio host and podcaster Adam Carolla.
The benefit event, with an after party for $1000 Silver and $1500 Gold contributors, was part of a string of comedy shows planned for across the U.S. as the Rfk Jr. campaign looks to continue raising campaign funds. The first-time presidential candidate is polling in the mid- to high single digits in key U.S. states, according to RealClearPolitics.

If you’ve ever donated blood, you know part of the process is a lengthy — and slightly invasive — questionnaire regarding your medical, travel, and even sexual history. It’s a bit annoying, but helping maintain the national blood supply for medical emergencies is worth it. In 2021 the Red Cross issued guidelines that allow those who have received the Covid-19 vaccine to donate so long as they’re not actively experiencing symptoms from the vaccination.

On Sunday during the Super Bowl, a super Pac supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ran an ad for his independent presidential campaign for the 2024 election.
The advertisement displayed pictures of the candidate in vintage attire, echoing the campaign of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy. The commercial was meant to honor the legacy of the former president and stir up buzz from Rfk Jr., however, many members of the Kennedy family did not receive it well.
Kennedy’s cousin, Bobby Shriver, son of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, posted on X, “My cousin’s Super Bowl ad used our uncle’s faces – and my Mother’s. She would be appalled by his deadly health care views.”

Incomprehensible Maga-land predictions that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce would rig the Super Bowl and endorse Joe Biden for president to 100 million American viewers as part of a massive psy-op turned out to have been greatly exaggerated. Mostly, they just kissed a lot.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is running as an independent for the White House, leaned heavily on his late uncle’s political legacy with a Super Bowl spot that recreated a vintage TV ad from John F. Kennedy’s 1960 presidential campaign.
Kennedy Jr., who is the son of the late Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of JFK, is pursuing a controversial political agenda that includes advocating against vaccines for Covid and other diseases. He is married to actress Cheryl Hines.
The original spot uses rudimentary animation and stop motion edits that blend photos and headline messages such “Vote Kennedy,” “A Time for Greatness” and “Vote Democratic.” Rfk Jr.’s version featured photos of himself where his uncle had been and other adjustments.
The spot aired during the first half of the NFL championship game between the San Francisoco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Rfk Jr. distributed the ad via his social media channels.

A presidential campaign ad for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aired during Sunday’s Super Bowl — and it might have looked familiar for folks who were around when John F. Kennedy was running for president.
The ad, from super Pac American Values 2024, resembled a presidential campaign ad for Kennedy’s uncle, JFK, when he was campaigning for president alongside his running mate Lyndon B. Johnson in 1960.
The original, black-and-white ad features a catchy song repeating “Kennedy” over and over in the chorus, while images of JFK and his name are shown over lyrics like: “Do you want a man for president who’s seasoned through and through? But not so doggone seasoned that he won’t try something new? A man who’s old enough to know and young enough to do?”
Rfk Jr.’s includes the same song with the same lyrics, along with the same (now-vintage) vibe of the original.
