Known as one of today's most aired network theme composers, Matthew Kajcienski
stays active in the film, concert, and television genres. Credits include current main themes
for Dick Wolf's "First Responders" (FOX 2019-current), Good Morning America (1975) (ABC
2007-Current), "Nightline" (2018-current), "20/20" (ABC 2010-Current), "This Week" (ABC 2012-Current),
"America This Morning" (ABC 2013-Current), The Lookout (2013) (ABC), Farmed and
Dangerous (HULU Series), Would You Fall For That (ABC), ABC's
Olympic Theme Music, ABC's Oscars Opening Ceremony Theme, and ABC's Election Theme among others. Kajcienski
holds degrees from the famed Juilliard School where he studied
composition with Pulitzer/Oscar winner John Corigliano and Samual Adler
as well as violin studies with Stephen Clapp. Award highlights include
an Emmy, American Academy of Arts and Letters "Charles Ives" Scholarship
Award, an ASCAP/Morton Gould Award, 1st place - TCM Young Film
Composer's Competition, an NFAA Award (National Foundation for the
Advancement of Arts) and a "Henry Mancini" Fellowship to name a few.
Matthew has had works performed by notable soloists, chamber ensembles,
and orchestras in the US and abroad including The Juilliard Orchestra,
An die Musik and Ensemble du Monde as well as premieres in Lincoln
Center and Carnegie Hall. Matthew has also composed music for award
winning commercial campaigns including Clio/Bronze Lion award winning
Shredded Wheat, Siemens, IBM, Kodak, Cisco, Wii, Merck, and others.
Matthew is the founder/CCO of DreamArtists Music, specializing in original music for advertising and branding. He is also owner of The Perch (music production).
