Ilene Kahn Power is an Emmy Award-winning and multiple Golden Globe-nominated executive producer of movies and event series such as "Gia" starring Angelina Jolie, "Elvis" starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, "Roswell", the UFO cover-up movie for Showtime starring Martin Sheen, "Traffic" the miniseries, "Stalin" for HBO starring Robert Duvall and Julia Ormand (for which she won the Emmy for Outstanding Motion Picture for Television), "White Mile" starring Alan Alda, "Fatherland" starring Rutger Hauer and Miranda Richardson, and "Buffalo Soldiers" starring Danny Glover. She most recently produced "An Amish Sin" for A&E/Lifetime Networks which has been nominated for six major Leo Awards, including outstanding movie for television. She recently produced "Gone Mom" starring Annabeth Gish, the true crime tragedy of the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos which captured the attention of the country in 2022.
Kahn Power is a former Senior Vice President of HBO Films where she developed and oversaw the production of over sixty films. She is actively developing limited event series such as "Darkover" based on Marion Zimmer Bradley's (The Mists of Avalon) renowned books, and "Against the Wall" based on the memoir of border patrol agent turned immigrant activist, and "Faded Giants", about UFO sightings by a US Colonel in the Air Force. She sits on the Board of Women In Film where she Chairs and produces the Legacy Series, capturing the personal and professional stories of notable women in the film industry in front of and behind the camera. She is a member of Northwestern's C-100 group, mentoring young female NU graduates. She is married to Derek Power with whom she is partnered in Kahn Power Pictures.
