Idw Publishing's "Star Wars: Rogue One", the official graphic novel adapting the feature, is written by Alessandro Ferrari, with a cover by Eric Jones:
"...the 'Death Star', ultimate weapon of the 'Empire' is nearing completion and the 'Rebel Alliance' may be doomed. Enter 'Jyn Erso', daughter of the Death Star's reluctant creator, who seeks to save her father from 'Imperial' control.
"On her quest, she'll join forces with 'Rebel' spy 'Cassian Andor', reprogrammed Imperial droid 'K-2So' and other supporters of the Rebel cause, only to discover that their goals may differ crucially from her own.
"It all culminates in a saga-defining showdown on the tropical planet 'Scarif', with Jyn and her friends attempting to steal the Death Star's plans and keep hope for the 'Rebellion' alive, leading directly into the opening scene of 'Star Wars: A New Hope'...."

It is that time again. The moment where you bite your nails as your heart pounds rapidly. On tonight’s episode of America’s Got Talent, we find out what the first top five acts are. Will your favorites make it through? The bottom three this time was a bit of a shock. Chase Goering and Eric Jones didn’t deserve to be in the bottom three. Their performances were really good last night. Guess America thought otherwise. I felt sorry for Evie Clare, but her performance last night was not her best. My eyes went wide when Evie was the Dunkin’ Save.

That sound you just heard was five America’s Got Talent acts breathing a collective sigh of relief.
Following Tuesday’s live performances, Wednesday’s results show revealed which five competitors America chose to send through to the finals, airing in two weeks on NBC — and there were a few surprises in the mix.
The episode began with Chase Goehring, Evie Clair and Eric Jones being labeled “in danger,” and thus eligible for the coveted Dunkin’ Save. (Spoiler alert: At the end of the night, the Save was awarded to Clair.)
Preacher Lawson was the first act officially announced as a finalist,...

After back-to-back snoozefests to close out the quarterfinals, America's Got Talent finally delivered a satisfying night of live performances that will hopefully get season 12 back on track. And now, five standouts are headed to the finals.
There seems to be a general consensus as to four of the five acts that will make up half our Top 10, but the recipient of that final coveted spot remains a bigger mystery than how Eric Jones does his magic (because he shows us, like an accidental episode of Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed).

There was a lot of singing last night as America's Got Talent (2.5/10) kicked off its semifinals in the post-Labor Day broadcast. Of course, there was a bit of magic too courtesy of contestant Eric Jones, and those ratings that have seen NBC take the Tuesday summer top spot fifteen times in a row. Overall, the Comcast-owned net saw the fast affiliates for Agt down a tenth from the final numbers of its August 29 show, which had been adjusted down from its early numbers…...

After months of auditioning and competing, the first semifinals of America’s Got Talent season twelve is about to begin. The competition is getting intense. Will the acts remain calm under pressure? Singer Yoli Mayor started things off with Say You Won’t Let Go by James Arthur. The Miami native wowed the Dolby Theater audience with her stunning voice. I thought she sounded a bit off key, but that’s just me. Simon, however, thought the performance was perfect and that he is glad to see the real Yoli return. Magician Eric Jones then took to the stage and did some close

Eleven acts took the stage Tuesday for the first night of live semifinals on America’s Got Talent, with acts ranging from sensitive singers to dancing dogs — plus a lusty puppet with eyes (and hands) for Simon Cowell.

Singer Yoli Mayor kicked off the two-hour event with another “stripped-down” performance, this time of James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go.” It took a minute for the audience to warm up to Mayor’s depressing ballad of choice, but she had everyone — especially self-professed super fan Cowell...

Magician Eric Jones does what millions of us have wanted to do over the years on this week’s America’s Got Talent — when he smashes Simon Cowell’s red buzzer with a hammer! But it’s not anger at the Agt judge that causes him to destroy Simon’s buzzer, as it comes as part of a trick. In it he gets guest judge Chris Hardwick to sign his name on one of the cards in his deck, but while it initially has a blue back he appears to magically turn it to red. Then, after Simon said his initial audition wasn’t strong...read more...
