- Satoru Iwata was born on December 6, 1959 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. He was a producer and writer, known for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (2006), Metroid Prime (2002) and Metroid: Zero Mission (2004). He was married to Kayoko Iwata. He died on July 11, 2015 in Kyoto, Japan.
