Mike Huber is an award winning TV commercial, Video Game and feature film director.
Born in Berne, Switzerland, Mike grew up in Washington, DC. Graduating from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor in directing, Mike launched his career on international feature film productions with acclaimed directors Michael Haneke, Raul Ruiz, and Miklos Jancso.
Directing a series of award-winning short films, Michael made his feature directorial debut alongside Stephen Beckner with 'AKA Birdseye,' a genre-breaking drama premiering at the Locarno Film Festival. His subsequent feature films, 'Liebe und Wahn' (2007) and 'Heldin der Lüfte' (2008), were made-for-television movies produced for Swiss television.
Huber has directed commercial campaigns for a broad range of international clients, including FIFA, Triumph, WWF, Ferrero and many more. With his background in animation and and VFX-driven films, Mike Huber directed 'The Perils of Man' -- a computer adventure game designed by Lucas Arts' artist Bill Tiller (i.E. 'The Curse of Monkey Island'). 'The Perils of Man' was acclaimed by critics for its Steampunk fiction and art style likened to that of Tim Burton, setting standards for point and click games designed for mobile. 'The Perils of Man' won the SGDA Award 2014 for Best Video Game of the year.
