- Karl is a very talented actor, who will be most remembered for playing "Jacko", in the brilliant comedy series, Brush Strokes (1986). Jacko was a painter and decorator, and very much a "Jack the lad". In this hugely entertaining series, Karl played a ladies' man, who never has any intention of settling down.
