- David became a restaurateur, serving New York-style food at his restaurant, La Posta, in Panama City, Panama. Many customers are New York expatriates. He started cooking for his fellow cast members of Dark Shadows when he was about 11 years old. He left acting behind and opened successful restaurants in New York and Cartagena, Colombia.
