Lota Hairston-Hadley

Born to a single mother in Pacoima, California (the same city that
George Lopez grew up in) she started in the film business as a summer
job during high school at Paramount Studios. Lota worked in post
production for approximately 15 years before starting her own
production company, Snapkick Productions with husband Ethan
Dettenmaier. She produced "Sin-jin Smyth" a low budget horror film
starring Jonathan Davis of "Korn" as the devil. Lota is also
co-producer on a film tiled "House of Grimm" with Jon Divens the
co-producer of "Blade" and "Blade 2". Lota is executive producer of 3
films that deal with social issues, "One Hour Fantasy Girl" which
explores the problems that plague runaways; "The Magic Stone" which
deals with homelessness; and "Mother's Red Dress" which deals with
domestic violence and these films are endorsed by the American Way.
Lota has several other projects in various forms of productions such
as, "Little Iron Man" which is the true story of the first company of
Japanese soldier to reach the lost battalion in WWII and was voted
favorite project in the IFP Market 2008. This is now being re-organized
to a mini series.
In 2008/2009 with a former executive from The Weinstein Company, a partner from Interscope and producer/director Ethan Dettenmaier, she re-formed their production company into Arsenal Productions And Management first to move production forward and assist with the business and production affairs of some of their friends such as Sonny Landham (Predator, 48 Hours), Ultimate Fighter Keith Jardine, Kevin Gage (Heat, G.I. Jane) Dennis Storhoi (The 13th Warrior) Jouko Ahola (Invincible, Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven), Ricco Ross (Aliens), David Anthony Marshall (Another 48 Hours, Lock Up), Jacqueline Moore (WWE, TNA Wrestling), Jamie Dukes of the NFL Network, Director Michael Winner, Sven-Ole Thorsen of Gladiator, The Hunt For Red October, Conan The Barbarian soccer legend Werner Roth and several others. The company also built a strong music division that financed several recording projects and began to collaborate and work with different artists such as Mick MacNeil (Simple Minds, The Pretenders), James Stevenson (The Alarm, The Cult, Gene Loves Jezebel) Martha Davis (The Motels), Cy Curnin of The Fixx, Tasmin Archer, Patrick O'Hearn of Frank Zappa and Missing Persons who was also a composer for Roger Donaldson, Ian Donaldson, Marty Wilson-Piper of The Church, Dave Wakeling and Jay Aston (Gene Loves Jezebel).
