Adam Samuel Goldman is a filmmaker and writer who sometimes makes music. His credits as a writer-producer include "Flipside," a feature documentary that premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. He also co-wrote and produced "For Madmen Only," a feature comedy-doc hybrid starring Patton Oswalt, Bob Odenkirk, and Lauren Lapkus. The film premiered at SXSW, was the subject of a Comic Con panel, and was released by Hulu in 2021. His experimental documentary short, "The Mark Twain Company," has screened at MoMA and Los Angeles Filmforum.
As a composer, Goldman's score for "The Code," a CBS prime-time drama, won a 2020 ASCAP Screen Award. As leader of the art-pop band Fol Chen, Goldman (as Samuel Bing) released three albums on Sufjan Stevens' Asthmatic Kitty label, produced records for Andrew Bird and Simone White, remixed songs by David Bowie and Junior Vasquez, and presented artwork at LACMA in Los Angeles and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. His soundtrack credits include "CSI:NY," "Elementary," and "Weeds."
