Exclusive: Netflix on board for a third installment of The Kissing Booth, the continuing romantic adventures of Elle (Joey King), her hunky hot tempered boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) and her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney). Vince Marcello, who adapted and directed the first two films from the novels that Beth Reekles originally self-published through Wattpad, has already finished shooting the third installment, and is in post-production on it.
King, the star and exec producer, just revealed the news during a livestream fan event. The film was quietly shot in tandem with The Kissing Booth 2 in South Africa, and it will be released in 2021. The third installment picks up where the second one left off. It’s the summer before Elle heads to college, and she has a secret decision to make. She has been accepted into Harvard, where boyfriend Noah is matriculating, and also Berkeley, where her Bff Lee (Noah’s brother) is headed.

Remember Critters? You know, they were kind of like Gremlins but not as good? Well, they’re back courtesy of Syfy, who’s on a mission to resurrect long-dormant horror franchises.
Back in October, they announced their plans to make new movies about cult classics Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Critters. We’ve heard nothing as yet about the former, but it’s sounding as though it’s all go for the hungry, mischievous and toothy space monsters. That’s according to Production Weekly, at least.
They’ve confirmed today that the movie’s set to enter full production in January over in South Africa with Adam Friedlander and Armond Leo producing. As yet, we don’t have any inkling of the plot, cast or directors, but this is Critters, so it’s pretty easy to suss out the gist of what’s going to happen.

A giraffe from ITV1's hit drama series Wild at Heart has been rescued after falling into a swimming pool on the set. Giraffe Lucy, 9, broke on to the Leopard's Den set and the crew were forced to launch an all-night rescue operation to save the animal, which included calling the fire brigade, draining the pool and building steps out of sandbags. Producer Adam Friedlander said: "We are not 100% sure how she fell into the pool but we think she may have been drinking from it and with her head being too low became disorientated and fell in. "The animals on the reserve roam free and we are of course very mindful of their safety and try to interfere with their habitat as little as possible. However, accidents can happen and it appeared Lucy (more)...

Tribeca Film has acquired Us rights to The Bang Bang Club, a gripping drama based on the incredible lives of a group of young photojournalists whose graphic images drew the world’s attention to South Africa during the last stages of apartheid while enduring the stresses, tensions, and moral dilemmas of working in situations of extreme conflict.
The Bang Bang Club was the name given to four young photographers, Greg Marinovich, Kevin Carter, Ken Oosterbroek and Joao Silva, whose photographs captured the final bloody days of white rule in South Africa and the final demise of apartheid. The film, based on the page-turning book of the same name, tells the remarkable and sometimes harrowing story of these young men – and the extraordinary extremes they went to in order to capture their pictures.
The film stars Ryan Phillippe (Stop-Loss), Malin Akerman (Watchmen), Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights), Neels Van Jaarsveld and Frank Rautenbach.

Toronto -- Ryan Phillippe, Malin Akerman and Taylor Kitsch are set to headline director Steven Silver's indie drama "The Bang Bang Club."
The Canada/South Africa co-production about four young combat photographers capturing the final days of apartheid is being produced by Daniel Iron of Toronto-based Foundry Films and Lance Samuels and Adam Friedlander of Out of Africa Inc.
Phillippe will play Greg Marinovich, a photographer who, along with fellow cameraman Joao Silva, earned Pulitzers for their photos of the final bloody days of white rule in South Africa, and penned the book on which the film is based.
The true-life story of the four photographers, who became known as the Bang Bang Club, has an element of tragedy as one of them, Ken Oosterbroek, was killed by stray bullets in 1994 while in a battle zone, while another, Kevin Carter, committed suicide that same year.
