Gilmore Girls is a mostly beloved TV series, but the show still had storylines that were almost universally despised by fans. Rory Gilmore’s decision to sleep with her married ex-boyfriend is one of them. Rory and Dean Forrester’s clandestine hookups are largely blamed for Dean’s divorce from Lindsay Lister less than a year after their wedding. While we get how Rory gets some blame for the whole situation, we don’t think she was to blame for their divorce, not even a little bit.
Dean Forrester is the one who sought out Rory Gilmore and lied to her
Rory is largely blamed for the demise of Dean and Lindsay’s marriage. Lindsay was hurt by the betrayal, and we felt for her. Still, we think Rory was a victim in the situation, too. While Rory harbored some feelings for Dean, she didn’t really act on them.

Rory Gilmore and Dean Forrester were not meant to be. Gilmore Girls fans largely agree that the high school sweethearts were not supposed to last forever. Still, the relationship was important in Rory Gilmore’s life. Let’s review everything that happened between Rory and Dean.
Dean and Rory started dating when they were 16
Dean Forrester might have been the new kid in Stars Hollow, but he didn’t waste any time finding a girlfriend. Dean and Rory met in the hallways of Stars Hollow High School moments before Rory transferred to Chilton. Despite not attending the same school, Dean pursued Rory, and the duo officially became a couple on Rory’s 16th birthday.

Rory Gilmore’s love life is divisive. Gilmore Girls Fans are pretty evenly split between Logan Huntzberger and Jess Mariano being the right man for Rory. While Jess has plenty of fans, he has haters, too. Jess’ opponents argue that he was angsty, inconsiderate and mean, especially to Rory. Fans claim he was smart, insightful, and wounded. Both sides are correct, but we still think we need to defend the angsty New York native.
Jess Mariano’s early life explains a lot of his behavior on ‘Gilmore Girls’
Jess might have been angsty and a bit difficult, but we must give the kid a pass, at least for some of his bad behavior. He was dealt a difficult hand, and we can’t blame him for acting out. Jess was raised in New York, abandoned by his father, and eventually ditched by his mother.

It has been six years since Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life wrapped on Netflix. Even before the revival, fans had mixed feelings about Logan Huntzberger, Rory Gilmore’s college boyfriend. The revival certainly didn’t make him look better. When fans reconnected with him, he was still sleeping with Rory while following Mitchum Huntzberger’s dynastic plan by marrying a never-seen heiress. Logan, in the revival, had regressed from the Logan fans watched walk away from Rory after she turned down his marriage proposal. The super-rich heir to a media empire wasn’t a terrible person, though. Frankly, we think he deserves a bit more credit than he gets

Dean Forrester went from the perfect first boyfriend to a much-hated cheater in the span of five seasons. The Gilmore Girls character is mostly hated by fans now, and we can’t say we blame them. Dean experienced a character assassination in season 5 of the series before he walked off into the sunset after a fight with Luke Danes. Despite some of Dean Forrester’s final moments on Gilmore Girls being far from positive, we think the character gets a little too much hate. We have come to the defense of Dean. It feels like someone has to.
Dean Forrester was really very sweet to Rory Gilmore initially
When Gilmore Girls fans first met Dean Forrester, he seemed like the perfect guy. He was tall, handsome, and absolutely smitten with Rory. Once they finally got together, Dean was protective and attentive toward his girlfriend.
When they’ve never heard of #GilmoreGirls.

When Gilmore Girls first aired in 2000, many teen fans wished their mom would be like Lorelai Gilmore. Decades later, the shine has worn off the single mom. After many rewatches, it has become increasingly clear that Lorelai had some serious parental shortcomings and didn’t always steer her daughter in the right direction. Still, Lorelai had some seriously wonderful moments with Rory Gilmore. We’ve collected three of her best parenting moves.
Lorelai swallowed her pride for her child’s benefit
Lorelai Gilmore may have been permissive. She definitely spent too much time hyping Rory up. She may not have been equipped emotionally to become a parent when she did. Still, Lorelai did always have her heart in the right place. Lorelai showed off how selfless she could be in the show’s pilot episode.

The only official Gilmore Girls Valentine’s Day episode is almost universally hated by fans. The season 6 episode just doesn’t have what we’d expect from an episode all about love, especially when the two main characters, Rory and Lorelai Gilmore, are both in serious, long-term relationships. While these episodes aren’t centered around Valentine’s Day, we think they are suitable stand-ins for the low-rated “A Vineyard Valentine.”
Rory and Lorelai Gilmore | Warner Bros./Delivered by Online USA ‘Raincoats and Recipes’ feels like the ultimate ‘Gilmore Girls’ Valentine’s Day episode
A list of Gilmore Girls episodes to watch on Valentine’s Day would feel incomplete without mentioning the season 4 episode, “Raincoats and Recipes.” The season 4 episode is among the most romantic and dramatic.
In the episode, Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore begin their romantic relationship on the Dragonfly Inn’s porch after arguing. They seal it with an epic kiss.

Stars Hollow was just as important to Gilmore Girls as the show’s main characters. The town became a character in its own right, and fans of the famed series have spent years trying to figure out exactly where the fictional town would be in Connecticut if it had been a real place. While we’ve come up with a pretty good idea of where Stars Hollow might have been located, the liner notes from a soundtrack actually lists the town’s zip code. The zip code belongs to a real Connecticut town.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available on home video April 1, 2016. Ignore the fact that saying “home video” makes you sound like you just time traveled from 1985. Focus instead on how this fact means Harrison Ford is once again doing the rounds on talk shows because he is a national treasure. Part of Ford’s whirlwind tour brought him to Jimmy Kimmel Live! where talk of course turned to the now iconic moment when Han Solo shucks this mortal coil and becomes one with the Force. As far as Ford is concerned, it was a long time coming. “I argued for 30 years for this to happen and finally, I wore them down.” When Kimmel joked that Han Solo won’t be in any Star Wars movies going forward, Ford was quick with an accusatory “Who said that? Who made you the boss?” Pressed to confirm or deny that Han Solo is gone for good,...

On Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, actor Ewan McGregor stopped in and talked quickly turned to Star Wars. Sadly there’s still no official word on an Obi-Wan trilogy — get on it, Disney! — but McGregor did have some interesting tidbit to share about his role in The Force Awakens. McGregor was waiting nearly two years for the call from Abrams to be part of the new film! The important bit: “There’s a sequence where we can use a voice — that we hear Obi-Wan Kenobi’s voice coming from the distant reaches of the forest…or wherever it does come from […] I went in and I was able to see some of it before anyone else had seen it. I was very impressed. So yeah, I recorded a line for it. The line is ‘Rey, these are your first steps.’ But they got Alec Guinness to do ‘Rey’ which...

Many films these days — especially action tent poles — go through so many scripts and scriptwriters that the final product barely resembles the original idea. This isn’t Quite the case for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” but the novelization written by New York Times bestselling author Alan Dean Foster deviates from the movie in ways big and small. Foster had access to the script and this novel is part of the official Star Wars canon, but on a set like “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” changes were being made throughout production. This of course led to some interesting bits being left on the cutting room floor. These definitely aren’t every change, but they are the ones that piqued my interest. Warning: Spoiler For “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Below. Duh. First Order Image Credit: Lucasfilm #1: Hux’s Star Destroyer is called the Finalizer and is a Resurgent-class ship.

While the focus of Star Wars: The Force Awakens news stories may have shifted from rumours and spoilers to updates on the almost countless box office records it’s breaking on a daily basis, fans are still fervently debating some of the movie’s biggest twists and turns, with at least some of the answers coming from those responsible for making it.
However, there remains a very long list of unanswered questions and apparent plot holes which need to be addressed in some way.
