Imagine being someone who’s never seen Taskmaster. A virgin to joy. Someone whose eyes have never before drunk in the sight of a banana-Noel Fielding hiding in a fruit bowl, of Joe Wilkinson presenting the mayor of Chesham with 42 Calippo ice lollies, or of Charlotte Ritchie stumbling around a golf course blindfolded like an adorable Minion. What promise awaits! The prize tasks, the flashes of creative genius, the glorious failures… Alex Horne’s challenge-based comedy panel show is one of the most reliably entertaining TV programmes ever made.

Channel 4 has received nearly 1,300 Ofcom complaints over its controversial show Naked Education.
Presented by Anna Richardson and created by the team behind Naked Attraction, the educational show about body positivity aired on Channel 4 earlier this month.
In the first episode, a group of 14 to 16-year-olds were taught about body hair, with the segment concluding with four adults stripping off in front of them to show diversity in other people’s bodies.
The four adults also spoke to the teenagers about their own issues with body image and the topic of pubic hair.
The series was hotly debated on social media and daytime TV, with Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway saying: “There’s something about the physicality of a stranger being naked in front of a teenager which I just feel uncomfortable about, because of all the things that we read about.”

The vets deal with domestic pets, farm animals, racehorses and exotic creatures at the local Chester Zoo.

Ricky Gervais is a busy man, so can be forgiven for cutting some comedic corners where they present themselves.
Or maybe he likes just seeing his funny friends on screen. Ideally, together.
Warwick is delighted to be joining Karl on his latest trip abroad
Either way, it seems he is intent on splitting the comedic atom with his new two-part special pitting his stalwart travelling friend Karl Pilkington of the BAFTA-nominated An Idiot Abroad fame - two series - with - or should be that against? - the star of his latest BBC show Life's Too Short, Warwick Davis. And with pithy inevitability, it's called... The Short Way Round.
Pilkington looks none too convinced in the trailer for the show, which will air on Sky 1 later this year. But, being Karl, no doubt he'll find a way to make the best of it.
The pair will follow in the footsteps of Marco Polo,...

Spirit of Chartwell royal barge, which was given a makeover and bedecked with 10,000 roses, carnations, sweet peas and red charm peonies for the cruise - the centerpiece of her Diamond Jubilee. Ben Fogle thinks Prince William's wedding 'reinvigorated' the royal family. The TV star was among the guests when the prince married Kate Middleton - who is now known as Duchess Catherine - last April and thinks Queen Elizabeth's forthcoming Diamond Jubilee celebrations, though a very different occasion, will unite the country in a similar way. He said: 'The wedding was an extraordinary moment, and I don't think you can compare a wedding with an anniversary as such. The wedding was completely unique and it invigorated the whole country and I think it put a great spark back into the royal family. 'I wouldn't like to compare them, but I think that with the Diamond Jubilee, I think everyone is surprising...

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London are getting closer, sports fans. The Olympic torch relay started Thursday (May 17) in Greece, where Greek actress Ino Menegaki took on the role of High Priestess at the kick off of the relay.
Former England footballer David Beckham was also in Greece, where he, the London mayor and Britain's Princess Anne accompanied the torch back to the United Kingdom on Saturday (May 18), where it was lit in Cornwall and began its 8,000-mile journey around England (with a detour to Ireland's capital city of Dublin).
Below are a few more stops - British television presenter and adventurer Ben Fogle carries the flame via lantern above the tree canopy in a hot air balloon inside the rainforest biome at the Eden Project in Cornwall, and then below that, torch-bearers exchange the flame on a beach near St. Michael's Mount.
Just 67 more days until the Opening Ceremonies.

Ricky Gervais has once again persuaded his round-headed friend Karl Pilkington to embark on a new epic journey across the world. And this time he won’t be alone.
Actor Warwick Davis, star of Gervais’ sitcom “Life’s Too Short”, will accompany the often agitated Pilkington in “An Idiot Abroad: The Short Way Round”, two 1-hour Christmas specials in which they will follow in the footsteps of famous explorer Marco Polo from Italy to China.
The 500 mile journey takes the odd pairing from Venice to Eastern Europe to India and China as “they get stuck into different cultures and traditions, illuminated by Karl’s trademark observations about the world and Warwick’s varying experiences as a little person in different countries.”
The pairing of Pilkington and Davis is mouth-watering, especially as Karl’s previous time talking about the actor on the podcasts or when he spoke to him in the last series,...

The actor and director has angered some with his comments on the British stance on the Falklands. But he has a long history of speaking out passionately when he perceives injustice
In the midst of the row that has engulfed Sean Penn over his comments on "ludicrous and archaic" British colonialism regarding the Falkland Islands, the words put into Penn's mouth by Trey Parker and Matt Stone in their animated film Team America, inevitably have resurfaced, laden with a certain resonance. "Last year I went to Iraq," Parker and Stone had Penn declaiming in their satirical assault on the self-regard and simplistic views of Hollywood A-list activists. "Before Team America showed up, it was a happy place. They had flowery meadows and rainbow skies and rivers made of chocolate."
