Never one to hold her tongue, Jessica Simpson was brutally honest during her interview on CNBC’s “Closing Bell” with Kelly Evans this week.
When asked about her biggest money mistake thus far, the “Come On Over” songstress blurted out, "The biggest money mistakes? I don't know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage!"
Simpson also discussed the success that has marked her first 10 years in the merchandising realm- "My business manager [and I have] been together for 16 years now. He’s one of the first people that I met coming into New York City, and I trust him with everything. We've made really great investments, we haven't really had any mistakes. I'm definitely a person that is all about taking a risk and everything to me is kind of a 'why not?'. I take an opportunity by the reigns and just go for it…when we started, it was...

When Evans asked Simpson what she thinks have been her biggest financial mistakes thus far, the mother of two replied, "The biggest money mistakes? I don't know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage!" Yikes! Evans chimed in with, "That's actually a common answer, believe it or not." The show host also questioned the buxom blonde on her...

For someone so concerned about civil liberties, Rand Paul isn't exactly one for free speech. At least when it comes to a couple of journalists who've tried to ask the newly declared Gop presidential candidate any questions recently! While it took about 3 seconds to find on YouTube after the fact, his ungentlemanly sit-down with Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie yesterday prompted the resurfacing (thanks Policy.Mic and Mediaite) of this gem, during which the Kentucky senator actual shushed CNBC's Kelly Evans while she was interviewing him on Feb. 2. While discussing federal budget matters via satellite, Evans did try to interject while Paul was talking, prompting him to wave his hand at her and...

From Dash dolls to global business moguls! The Kardashian sisters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, opened up to CNBC's Closing Bell on Monday, July 7, about juggling their crazy schedules with family life. The superstar siblings, who were interviewed by Kelly Evans and Courtney Reagan at a Babies "R" Us store in NYC, were quick to credit their mother, Kris Jenner, for instilling a strong work ethic in her children. "My mom kind of taught us girls we could have it all," Kim, 33, said. "You know, she works [...]...

When children see a scary movie, it’s a parent’s job to reassure them: “Everything’s okay, it was just a movie. There is no freaky clown who’s going to choke you and drag you under your bed.” When you’re older, you’re not supposed to be so easily frightened by the things you see in the movies—but even when there are unsettling, apocalyptic onscreen developments, it never hurts to have some genius scientist point out the flaws in the nightmarish logic.

Hey guys, remember Flappy Bird? You know, the super frustrating mobile game that came out of nowhere earlier this year and was then randomly removed from both the iTunes App Store and Google Play due to creator Don Nguyen claiming it ruined his “simple life?” Well, it looks like he has had a change of heart, as the game will be returning to mobile devices in August.
Nguyen revealed the news about the game’s return to CNBC reporter Kelly Evans earlier today. Donna Burton, a talent producer at CNBC, also tweeted the news, with some additional details on what this edition of Flappy Bird will entail.

Choosing the music to accompany a news report can be a tricky task, as CBS This Morning discovered last week when it played Toto's "Africa" over footage of the South African memorial for Nelson Mandela. CNBC made a similar, yet possibly worse, blunder when it teased a story about Starbucks with a rap song that included the N-word. Indeed, the offending word played before the business channel cut to a commercial break, loud enough for viewers to hear.
