U2's upcoming world tour to support their latest effort "No Line on the Horizon" is revealed to pick up "Kiss to the Future" as its name. Though the band claim on their official website that tour dates of their upcoming world tour will be announced on March 9, Billboard has come with info suggesting the tour will be kicked off in Barcelona on June 30.
"We're very excited about the idea to go on the road with this album," guitarist/backing vocalist David "The Edge" Howell Evans shared his thought concerning the tour. "It's an album that I think is going to translate so well to the live context. The songs we've tried in rehearsal are sounding fantastic, so that's got everyone really fired up."
Arthur Fogel, the music chairman of tour promoter Live Nation global, meanwhile, said U2's concerts are "obviously a major undertaking on a bunch of different levels.

U2 have brought forth a music video for "Get on Your Boots", the first single off their twelfth studio album "No Line on the Horizon". Premiered on February 6, it features the band performing against a backdrop of complex graphic art designed by video director Alex Courtes.
The band's backing vocalist David "The Edge" Howell Evans said that the video is "based around the idea that men have f***ed things up so badly, politically, economically and socially." He added, "That it's really time we handed things over to women. The finished video is brilliant. (Alex) really nailed it."
