- "Boadicea" was an instrumental/humming piece released by Enya in 1987. It is her most sampled piece, reportedly sampled over 63 times by other artists. "Boadicea" was used by Diddy and Enya re-recorded vocals for the 2004 Mario Winans hit 'I Dont Wanna Know' also sung by Mario Winans . It was also used without permission in the Fugees' song "Ready or Not." The Fugees originally did not credit Enya on their album, although she did not sue them either. It was later settled and she is now credited.
- Because of the soothing nature of her music, the singer's "Only Time" received extensive airplay in the wake of the 9/11 catastrophe. It was this exposure that firmly introduced Enya to American audiences on a grand scale.
- Her music has earned Enya a multitude of awards, including 4 Grammy Awards, and 7 World Music Awards. She also has had many notable nominations, including the 2002 Oscar nomination for Lord Of The Rings. Her latest nomination so far was for the Grammy Awards in 2017.
- Enya has a vast vocal range. It roughly changes from a mezzo-soprano to alto on songs such as "Pilgrim", "Trains and Winter Rains", "Pax Deorum" , "Caribbean Blue", "Long Long Journey", "Diamonds On The Water", and most notably "Dark Sky Island".
- Enya bought her castle in 1997 for an estimated EUR3.8 million. It is situated in Killiney, Co. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, Ireland. The castle also has a large window view, overlooking the Irish Sea.
