- Green-eyed, auburn-haired Diana Napier had her stage training in Paris. After some stage experience and small parts, she obtained her first important screen role in Wedding Rehearsal (1932).

- She established an artists studio which became the design company 'Diana Display Ltd.' (subsequently 'DNT Associates') based in Parsons Green, Fulham, London.
