Medea Japaridze was born on February 20, 1923 in Tiflis, Georgian SSR, TSFSR, USSR [now Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia]. She was an actress, known for Jurgais pari (1944), Keto and Kote (1948) and Akakis akvani (1947). She died on March 31, 1994 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Japaridze was a veteran Georgian film and theater actress and a
recipient of the USSR State Prize. She was one of the leading actresses at the
Konstantine Marjanishvili Theater in Tbilisi, Georgia since 1942.
