Bullock stunned in a strapless scarlet J.Mendel gown and black Roger Vivier heeled sandals, while Clooney looked smart in a classic tuxedo as the pair graced the red carpet at the city's Palazzo del Cinema.
Italian writer, actress and director Marina Ripa Di Meana stood out at the screening wearing a birdcage headpiece and red feather boa.
