- Bengt Danielsson was born on July 6, 1921 in Krokek, Östergötland län, Sweden. He was a writer, known for Mutiny on the Bounty (1962), Villervalle i Söderhavet (1968) and Gauguin in Tahiti: The Search for Paradise (1967). He was married to Marie-Thérèse Sailley. He died on July 4, 1997 in Tahiti.
