- Cooper's "claim to fame" was that he bore a strong resemblance to--and dressed as--Buffalo Bill Cody, aka "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Cooper, in fact, actually worked for Cody in his Wild West Show starting in 1892 and traveled throughout the US and Europe with the show.
