- Discovered by Erich von Stroheim. Conti made his last film as actor in 1942, he remained in the industry as an employee of the MGM wardrobe department until his retirement in 1962. But he's credited too in this function in two pics: one "In Old Chicago" at Twentieth Century Fox and one other "Prejudice", a social, religious drama made by Edmund L. Dorfmann Productions for Protestant Film Commission. -R.U.

- Served as an officer in the Austro/Hungarian Army during World War I.
- Was a member of the patrician Kaboga family, via his mother Marija Bernardina Ana (née Kaboga). His father was an Austrian Ritter (Count), and Albert himself held the lineal title of Ritter Conti von Cedassamare.
