Monaghan Film Mirrors Real Life
Actress Michelle Monaghan didn't hesitate to sign on for new film Made Of Honour - because the movie's plot echoes her own life story.
The Mission: Impossible Iii star plays a bride-to-be who chooses her male best friend to serve as her maid of honour.
And Monaghan admits she was drawn to the script because she also chose a man to take the traditionally female role when she married graphic designer Peter White in 2005.
She says, "That's one of the reasons why this film spoke to me; I feel as if things have come full circle in a way."
In the movie, the groom's relationship with her best friend is dogged with jealousy and tension - but Monaghan insists it wasn't the same in real life.
She adds, "(My best friend) bats for the other team (is gay), so Peter wasn't jealous at all."...
