Pistols N’ Petals. Firearms N’ Flowers. Weapons N’ Water Lilies. Guns N’ Roses are sending an online firearms store on the search for a new name. On behalf of the band, Axl Rose has filed a lawsuit against Texas Guns and Roses, which claims the shop’s name intentionally aims to confuse customers into believing it was created in association with, or at least with the permission of, the rock band.
“This is particularly damaging to Gnr given the nature of Defendant’s business,” the lawsuit reads, via USA Today.

American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses are suing a gun shop in Texas for using a reference to their name in the shop.
The band wants the store, called Texas Guns and Roses, to change their name and pay out a sum of damages.
The band’s lawsuit claims that the name insinuates that the shop is linked to the rock group.
The online store is accused of adopting “defendant’s marks for the purpose of confusing consumers into believing that it was connected or associated with, or licensed by, Gnr,” reported NME.
Guns N’ Roses also alleges that the store – which sells roses as well as firearms – only sells the flower to justify its use of the name.
The band are reported to have previously filed a cease and desist letter in 2019 before filing the suit, but the store persisted with their name.

Cressida Bonas may no longer be dating Prince Harry, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't still have royal friends. The 25-year-old was all smiles while she held hands with Harry's cousin Princess Beatrice as they left a glamorous party at Annabel's in London. Cressida was dressed to impress in a slinky blue gown as she chatted with Beatrice and made a bee-line for a cab with a group of friends, which included Princess Eugenie and Beatrice's boyfriend, David Clark. The former dance student is close to the two sisters, who introduced Cressida to Harry. Interestingly, Cressida's night out, which was her first public appearance since splitting from Harry two weeks ago, happened just as Harry embarked on his tour of Estonia and Italy. After taking a quick trip to Memphis, Tn, for his friend's wedding, Harry has been diving into his work postbreakup, including promoting his Invictus Games in...

After New Line’s raunchy road comedy We’re the Millers became one of the biggest box office surprises last summer, it’s no surprise that the studio is interested in following the future adventures of former drug dealer David Clark (Jason Sudeikis) and the oddball fake family he assembled in the film to help him smuggle a large amount of pot across the Mexican border into America. Now, We’re the Millers 2 (not the official title) has been officially confirmed, with news that New Line has attached Adam Sztykiel to pen the script.
Sztykiel is best known for writing Due Date, a 2010 comedy which starred Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis. That’s not great news, considering that Due Date‘s script was the film’s weakest link, providing only a few laughs while stranding its stars with minimal character development and a painfully derivative plot. A major storm rained down on Winter TV Press Tour 2014 this morning when The Weather Channel took the stage to blast DirectTV over their current carriage dispute. In anticipation of the channel’s appearance before a couple hundred journalists at the tour, it issued an ominous campaign late last night warning viewers they needed to contact their congressional reps to intervene, or else DirecTV would take away “its critical weather programming,” calling it a “public safety issue.” TV critics at the press tour weren’t entirely drinking The Weather Channel’s Kool-aid. One critic noted TWC is a successful company owned by a big corporation, asking “Is it fair to declare it a public utility?” in what’s really a business dispute. ★★☆☆☆ There are drawbacks to acting alongside Jennifer Aniston - mainly the fact that you have to take second-billing to everyone's favourite Friend. Rawson Marshall Thurber's We're the Millers (2013) may co-star Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts and Will Poulter, but they're soon forgotten once Aniston makes her entrance. David Clark (Sudeikis) has a problem. A small time drug dealer, he owes his 'boss' Brad Gurdlinger (Ed Helms) a lot of money. With little option than to do what Brad says, David agrees to travel to Mexico and bring back a shipment of weed. In exchange, Brad will forget David's debt and pay him $500,000.

Film: "We're The Millers"; Cast: Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Ed Helms, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter, Laura-Leigh, Molly C. Quinn; Director: Rawson Marshall Thurber; Rating: *** - Above average, worthwhile adult road-comedy.
It's a story of a group of losers who pose as a happy family in order to make their lives bearable. They look like a delightful family to everyone they meet, but in reality they are just the opposite -- obnoxious, foul mouthed crude beings.
The narration begins nonchalantly capturing the life of David Clark (Jason Sudeikis), a small time drug dealer. In his bid to be helpful to latchkey.

Mill on the Doss: Thurber’s Arbitrary Comedy Rests on Laurels of Cast Charm
Filmmaker Rawson Marshall Thurber, whose directorial debut was the Ben Stiller goof-fest Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004) returns to the broad humor of star studded formulaic mainstream comedy with We’re the Millers, which, to be fair, has more funny moments than it’s unappealing marketing campaign would lead you to believe. But even with a handful of chuckles, Thurber, who swerved into indie territory with a stagnant 2008 adaptation of Michael Chabon’s The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, along with his four screenwriters, creates yet another strained, contrived cinematic entry, with an ever increasingly ludicrous premise bludgeoned mercilessly into the requisite formula of Hollywood comedy.
Small time Denver drug dealer David Clark (Jason Sudeikis) lives the carefree life of a bachelor until an unlucky scenario outside his apartment complex sees him getting robbed of all his goods and hard cash.

"We're the Millers" offers an outrageous variation on the dysfunctional family scenario as David Clark (Jason Sudeikis), a longtime pot dealer, assembles a fake family (consisting of Jennifer Aniston, Will Poulter and Emma Roberts) as part of his plan to move a sizable shipment of Mary Jane from the U.S. to Mexico.
Our "We're the Millers" offers an outrageous variation on the dysfunctional family scenario as we've assembled a quartet of unrelated famous people who share the same last name and designed a poster around them. What's the plot of this "Millers"? Hey, who can choose just one?

"We're The Millers" is a family comedy, but not one you'd take the family to see.The raucous -- at times raunchy -- film is a R-rated road trip that relies on every sex joke in the book. There are plenty of laughs, but they're derived more from shock than humor.Jason Sudeikis stars as David Clark, a small-time drug dealer who runs into a big problem when his stash and cash get stolen by street punks. He enlists the help of his abandoned neighbor Kenny (Will Poulter), a homeless girl Casey (Emma Roberts) and a down-on-her-luck stripper Rose (Jennifer Aniston) to make some quick cash. Their plan is to pose as the Millers, a family vacationing in Mexico. Their true objective is to traffic marijuana across the border in their Rv. Of course, nothing goes as planned, and the Millers find themselves in dicey, if not outright disturbing, situations...

Chicago – There was a point in “We’re the Millers” when the story fell off the table like a Slinky from a mountaintop. It’s as if other writers took over from a far superior dark comedy, and injected “heart” and middle age “stripping.” This all adds up to a difficult 110 minutes of lost life time.

What began with decent laughs and with Jason Sudeikis rattling off fast-talk dialogue like he was in a demented Howard Hawks movie, turns into a domestic comedy of the stupidest order, with an idiot plot that defies logic, gravity and star power. Jennifer Aniston does the obligatory last “rebellious” role as a stripper who never takes her clothes off, before she is destined for mommy roles or another sitcom, playing a mommy. The rest of the embarrassed cast – with attention particularly paid to Ed Helms and Luis Guzmán – trot out the lame situations...

Title: We’re the Millers Directed By: Rawson Marshall Thurber Starring: Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts, Nick Offerman, Kathryn Hahn, Will Poulter, Ed Helms, Molly C. Quinn There’s nothing like family and it’s truer than ever in “We’re the Millers.” The plot isn’t particularly sound and jokes occasionally fall flat, but the appeal of watching this “family” come together is so enjoyable and satisfying, it makes the film an ideal way to round out the summer. Can somebody please explain Jason Sudeikis's appeal? He always seemed like one of the weaker links in an already-weak Saturday Night Live lineup – the bland, sorta-handsome guy used mostly as a straight man, who displayed little comic ingenuity when left to his own devices. The most promising aspect of his comic persona is his insincerity; he’s good at giving off the sense that he never really means what he says. But compared to a guy like Will Arnett, or Chevy Chase in his prime, Sudeikis’s disingenuousness is a very impoverished one, his surface blandness masking merely more inner blandness. It’s that insincerity that probably led to Sudeikis getting cast as David Clark, a Denver slacker and pot dealer who, after getting $43,000 worth of drugs and money stolen from him, is forced to smuggle some pot across the border from Mexico. His ingenious scheme is to hire...

There are some performers, like Zach Galifianakis or Will Ferrell, who can pretty much just stand there alone on screen and be funny. There are other performers though, like Owen Wilson or Vince Vaughn, who do their best work opposite someone else who they can play off of to laugh out loud effect. Jason Sudeikis seems to belong to the latter category. He can get laughs, but he gets more when he shares both the screen and some chemistry with another actor. He shares the screen quite a bit in We’re the Millers, but that chemistry is a bit harder to come by on a consistent basis. David Clark (Sudeikis) is living the dream. He’s in his mid-30s with no wife, no kids, no real responsibilities and he seems to like it that way. He even has a cushy job, so to speak. He sells weed. Not a huge amount or anything, but...

With ads prominently pushing both its R-rated laughs and Jennifer Aniston as a stripper, you've probably figured out by now that "We're The Millers" isn't exactly a conventional family road trip movie. That's because the Millers aren't your conventional movie family.
Lead by Jason Sudeikis (fresh off his recent exit from "Saturday Night Live") and Aniston and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber ("Dodgeball"), "We're The Millers" stars Sudeikis as David, a small-time pot dealer forced to graduate to international drug trafficking by his boss Brad (Ed Helms), who's like Tony Montana by way of Mr. Rogers. So, reasoning that clean-cut families draw less suspicion at the border, David recruits a fake wife and kids to help move his boss' product back from Mexico. Only this supposedly "all-American" family consists of a stripper, a runaway and a dorky teen.
In other words, the Millers aren't exactly a Norman Rockwell painting. So who are they then?...

There isn't much about We're the Millers that separates it from the typical snarky, quasi-feel-good raunchy comedy, but it deserves credit for one thing: finding a new twist on the familiar premise of mismatched strangers being forced to take a road trip together. In this scenario, a shiftless Denver weed dealer named David Clark (Jason Sudeikis) must settle a debt with his wealthy supplier (Ed Helms) by smuggling some marijuana -- "a smidge, maybe a smidge and a half" -- from Mexico into the U.S. To avoid suspicion at the border, David has the genius idea of gathering some accomplices, piling into an Rv, and pretending to be a typical (read: nerdy) middle-American family on vacation. Now, why David has to recruit near-strangers, I don't...

Given that Dodgeball director Rawson Thurber’s new comedy We’re The Millers features drug dealing (sorry, smuggling), swearing, references to sex acts and Will Poulter getting bitten by a spider in a most uncomfortable place (not the back of a Volkswagen), it seems only fair that its latest trailer should be of the Nsfw red band variety. New York — Colliding stunts on Discovery and The Weather Channel next week feel like another "Sharknado."
Discovery is holding its 26th annual Shark Week of programming at the same time The Weather Channel is airing Hurricane Week.
The weather folks can't resist a joke about it, airing a promotional ad that depicts a giant shark flying away in a stiff wind that references both Shark Week and "Sharknado," the Syfy network movie that has become a campy classic this summer.
"If having a little fun with this very serious topic helps get a little more attention, we're all for it," said David Clark, Weather Channel president.
Shark Week is a mixture of fun and science, even including a shark talk show this summer. Discovery's embrace of the week's pop culture status was signaled with the Snuffy the Seal ad that has received more than 5.5 million views on YouTube and the Discovery website.

Kate Moss had a big night out in London yesterday getting a head start on ringing in Chinese New Year, which is Sunday, Feb. 10, at China Tang restaurant, which is owned by her good friend David Tang. Also out for the fun were Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as their mom, Sarah Ferguson. Beatrice and Eugenie brought their respective boyfriends, David Clark and Jack Brooksbank, along for the fun, too. At the dinner, Kate caught up with the royal trio as well as TV executive Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of Fox News mogul Rupert, and singer Tom Jones. The whole group went to an afterparty at David's house, and Kate reportedly stayed out until 6 a.m. Kate may well have been in a celebratory mood thanks to a big new job - she's on four covers of the new i-d magazine. If your kids didn't already want to be astronauts when they grow up -- just wait until they get a look at the Z-1. It's Nasa's next generation of spacesuit, and it bears more than a passing resemblance to the suit worn by Buzz Lightyear in Pixar's beloved Toy Story films. The Z-1 Prototype Spacesuit and Portable Life Support System 2.0, produced for Nasa by the David Clark Co., is white with fluorescent green stripes and features a large, hemispherical transparent dome helmet -- just like Lightyear's. Named one of Time magazine's inventions of the year, the suit is designed to take astronauts into long missions into deep

In three months’ time, at least one of Revenge‘s Amandas will be a goner.
I’m referring, of course, to the Amanda – Jack’s boat – which we saw wrecked on the ocean floor off Block Island, Ri, in the first moments of this week’s episode. As for the other two women bearing that name, Emily-i-used-to-be-Amanda and Amanda-i-used-to-be-Emily-by-the-way-this-belly-is-outta-control, who knows? Because just like the shooting and flashback that kicked off last season, we got little more than a glimpse of the blown-up ship before the action rewound to the previous May.

Picking up after a jaw-dropping finale featuring a pill overdose, a plane crash and a back-from-the-dead parent is no easy task, but it’s one Revenge boss Mike Kelley was more than happy to take on with this Sunday’s Season 2 premiere (ABC, 9/8c) — and beyond!

Revenge Sneak Peeks: Nolan Nudges Emily on Her Path in 2002. Plus, See Jack's Hilarious Hair!
We know from earlier episodes of Revenge that Nolan met with Emily when she was first released from jail to tell her about the recent death of her father and to deliver his infinity box. This week's episode flashes back to 2002 to show us the genesis of Emily's plan of revenge.
Back then, Emily had recently come into a fortune, as well as her father's journals. Nolan was hanging around, trying to get her to read the journals and learn the truth about the kind of man her father was. His encouragement brings her to the Hamptons shortly after Christmas, where the Grayson family is planning a reunion of the conspirators. Emily heads to the Stowaway and spots 2002 Jack, who has the most ridiculous/hilarious hairdo. She also happens to meet his current squeeze, who...

Revenge Sneak Peeks: Emily Learns More About Her Father and Daniel Comes Home
Last week's episode of Revenge revealed a big secret: the Graysons were responsible for David Clark's death in prison. Emily had always thought that her father was killed in a random prison riot, but bugging the Grayson study resulted in Emily hearing Conrad speaking with one of his own henchmen, saying that they had another "David Clarke situation". This henchman took care of one of Victoria's problems and cleared Daniel for Tyler's murder with a well-placed suicide note, but now the Graysons have even more to answer for.
This revelation will lead Emily on a path of discovery to learn more about David Clarke and his death. One of the first pieces starts with Charlotte, who has decided to research the father she never knew. Charlotte shows Emily a photo of David that she found hidden in Victoria's jewelry box.

Revenge took fans back to the death of David Clark last night and revealed a major nugget surrounding this monumental event.
On May 9, meanwhile, the ABC thriller will head back in time once again, for a much longer stay, as the episode titled "Legacy" will be more than a flashback. As teased by creator Mike Kelley at PaleyFest, the entire hour will take place in 2002.
Before Emily was Amanda. Before she moved to The Hamptons. Before Nolan let his hair grow out.
Click through the following photos from the episode now and, as ABC teases in the official synopsis, get an idea of "where it all begins."...

The folks at Revenge are making it really easy for new viewers to hop on Emily Thorne’s vengeance train.
In this pretty clever video “record,” Nolan (Gabriel Mann) catches viewers up on the havoc that’s transpired in the Hamptons in the past few weeks — from David Clark’s set up to Daniel being hauled away in handcuffs “and not the fun kind.” (Also, Nolan confirms he’s team Jack!)
There’s also a peek at some of the fun coming up. “What I do know is, things are only going to get more intense,” Nolan promises, as we...

The moment Daniel Grayson was denied bail, we knew his days in prison would be anything but easy. And in the next new episode of Revenge, airing April 11, the dangers associated with incarceration come fist-to-face with the eldest Grayson child — with a twist, of course.
The scene, which leaves poor Daniel (Josh Bowman) bloodied and beaten, is just one of many juicy tidbits the crowd at PaleyFest was made privy to after checking out the first 30 minutes of the next new episode, and one of many future nail-bitters in store for the rest of the season.
But not to worry,...

Revenge is always a dish served cold. But defying that expectation, the television series Revenge has invited viewers to a Fire & Ice Ball celebrating the engagement of Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson. Upon receiving his invitation, Nolan Ross had taunted Emily, “Oh, was fire and brimstone not available?” Emily may have ice in her veins, taking the time needed to plot out and destroy Victoria Grayson, but her fury rages like a burning fire in her heart.
Thus, the Fire & Ice Ball is to be a night of crowning achievement as Emily’s long-orchestrated plans come together. She has secured a marriage proposal from the son of her arch-nemesis and she can finally implement the next phase of her dastardly plan to destroy Victoria Grayson – the woman who seduced and betrayed Emily’s father. In Emily’s defense, Victoria’s crimes are heinous and she deserves every bit of retribution...

The relaxing hiatus is over for the Hamptons elite on "Revenge." When we meet up again with the Graysons, Emily Thorne & co. on the beach, they look stunned, which we then learn is due to the gun Tyler has pointed at them. He walks around the table before pointing it directly at Emily's head. Now, it's time to find out how exactly they found themselves in this little predicament.
It's two days earlier and Emily is not yet in "duress" -- her word of day, which also happens to be the title of the episode. She heads downstairs and is happy to see that Daniel is there, coffee in hand. The two mention that Tyler is still M.I.A. and Daniel says his mom is planning a party for his impending birthday. Like the simple W.A.S.P. she is, Emily suggests a clambake.
Conrad arrives and Emily is quick to excuse herself.

It’s lucky 13 for the Antimatter Film Festival in Victoria, BC. That is, their 13th annual fest is all set to run on Oct 8-16. That’s nine mind-blowing nights of experimental short films, live film performances and culture-shattering documentaries.
The fest kicks off on the 8th with a 16mm screening of Sergei Eisenstein’s classic silent film Battleship Potemkin that will be accompanied by a live soundtrack by DJ-son Bitter Herbs [Jason Flower]. The people’s revolution never sounded so funky! Then, the fest concludes on the 16th with the event “Uzos [Underwater Zombies from Outer Space]” and will feature performances by Ryan Beattie, Atomic Vaudeville, Slut Revolver, Wes Borg and more.
Smooshed between those two events will be the debut feature film by acclaimed ethnographic filmmaker Ben Russell, Let Each One Go Where They May, which documents the amazing recreation of a bold escape made by slaves. Other feature length documentaries screening are: Teen Routines,...

A clever "plug and play" system makes the suit flexible and lightweight.
When 2020 rolls around, and astronauts are stepping onto the Moon or Mars, they'll be doing so in brand-new duds. And the price tag makes haute couture look low-budget: Nasa just recently awarded a $500 million, 6.5 year development contract to Oceaneering International, which usually makes deep-sea exploration gear, and David Clark Company, which has made space suits for 50 years.
What, exactly, does $500 million get you? A whole hell of a lot of engineering wizardry. Tech Review got one of first ever looks at the working prototypes of the Constellation system. (Excellent video here.) But the cleverest thing isn't that it'll sustain life for 150 hours in an emergency. Or link directly back to earth, with an onboard computer. Rather, it's the suit's modularity, which saves huge amounts of weight.
Previously, to fly inside a rocket/space shuttle or do a space...

Well this is a new one! It seems it’s not just the action hero’s car, the love interest’s cutsie outfit or the picturesque set location that we want a piece of when we’ve devoured a good movie. According to recently released stats by the Ministry of Defence (Mod), in the years that the most popular alien flicks hit our screens, UFO sightings, and the occasional abduction by little green men (or lemon-headed humanoids according to one report) shot up significantly.
The most impressive of these leaps in sightings occurred in 1977, the year Richard Dreyfuss carved his mash potato mountain in Close Encounters of the Third Kind with figures shooting up from around 400 sightings recorded the previous year to around 750. And just as a cigar-toting Will Smith saves the world quite ceremoniously on Independence Day in 1996 the number of reported sinister skyward happenings went from around 100 to...
