On episode 2.58 of We Love Soaps TV from the Love Out Loud VI fundraiser at Prohibition in New York City, Billy Warlock discusses his role in "The Normal Heart," the possibility of writing an autobiography someday, and shares his honest opinions on what daytime soaps could have done to save themselves.
We Love Soaps TV: What do you think needs to happen for the last four shows to remain viable and stay on the air? What, if anything, can they do from your perspective?

You want the four shows to remain? Get rid...

When Beth Chamberlin viewed Michele Obama's video commemorating the first anniversary of her "Let’s Move" initiative to end childhood obesity, she was moved by the First Lady’s call to action. Beth realized that her television fame and her reputation and expertise in the fitness world placed her in a unique position to contribute in a meaningful way to this effort. So she dove into the task of creating a home fitness program for everyone.
"I believe that most children learn their important life lessons from their parents," said Chamberlin. “And the best way for parents to encourage children to become more physically active is by setting the example.” Her first goal then was to create a fitness program that was safe, effective and could be done in the home so that children could see their parents exercising and even take part.

A piece of television history comes to an end today when Guiding Light airs its last episode. After 72 years, TV's longest-running drama succumbed to declining ratings but it hasn't dimmed the ardor of longtime fans who hoped that another network would air the show and who devoted pages to eulogizing the show in the countdown to the final episode. And they are not alone in their love. The show's stars have been making their own peace with the end of Gl. Here Kim Zimmer, Beth Chamberlain, and Grant Aleksander share some their favorite memories. Kim Zimmer "It wasn't just a scene, it was the whole arc of the Josh and Reva first wedding. It was shot on location and the whole cast spent 3 glorious days together gathered for the events leading up to and including the ceremony. It really felt as if we were all family. Not just the cast but the crew as well.
