- Jeff Burman is a sound editor and assistant editor, and a long-time member of the Content Versioning staff at Universal. The group re-edits feature films for the ancillary markets, namely television and the airlines. It takes out the "naughty bits": the profane language, violence and sexual content so the films can be screened as PG films. He worked in the department from 1989 to 2017. From the moviola days to ProTools and the Avid Media Composer. He edited sound or assisted on over 300 titles.
He also serves on the Motion Picture Editors Guild Board of Directors. He was first elected in 1992 and has served continuously since.
