Tony Bullimore was born on 15 January 1939 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England, UK. He was married to Lalel Jackson. He died on 31 July 2018 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, UK.
After marrying a West Indian immigrant in 1965, he and his wife opened an Afro-Caribbean club, The Bamboo Club, in Bristol; Bob Marley was one of the musicians who performed there. He also became a race relations advocate.
