An overdue library book has been discovered 123 years after it was first taken out. Good Words for 1888 by Donald MacLeod was rented at the parish library in the Lake District village of Troutbeck by the Browne family over a century ago. The book was discovered in a bookshelf at a mansion owned by the National Trust. The house was owned by a wealthy George Browne at the time.
