Honored Artist of the RSFSR (04/05/1988). In 1930 he graduated from the camera department of VGIK. In 1939-1940 - assistant cameraman at the Mosfilm film studio. During the Great Patriotic War, a front-line cameraman in the film groups of the Karelian, 1st Ukrainian Front and Trans-Baikal Fronts. Brovin's filming was included in the films "People's Avengers", "The Battle for Our Soviet Ukraine", "Children of War", "Upper Silesia", "In the Lair of the Beast", "Berlin", "The Defeat of Japan" and others. After the war he worked at Mosfilm. From 1951 to 1978 - director of photography. He was buried at the 35th site of the Vagankovsky cemetery in Moscow.
