- Began as a child actor in radio in 1930. Settled in Kenya during the 1950's. Set up his own production company, turning out second feature adventure films and TV episodes with British backing.
- George Breakston's date of birth is given these days as January 22nd, 1920. But in contemporary publicity for the film No Greater Glory, filmed in late 1933 and released in 1934 (film magazines and studio publicity of the time) he is stated as being only eleven years old, which would make his year of birth 1922.
