- Tui Bow was born on October 19, 1906 in Hawera, Taranaki, New Zealand. She was an actress, known for Frenchman's Farm (1987), Sunshine of Paradise Alley (1926) and The Irishman (1978). She was married to Robert Bow. She died on March 25, 1993 in Alderley, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

- In 1928, Tui wed friend Clara Bow's widowed father, Robert Bow (reportedly at Clara's insistence), in order to be able to remain in the United States, having entered without a passport or visa. Thus, she technically became Clara's stepmother despite the two women being about the same age. Robert and Tui divorced in July 1929 on grounds of mental cruelty.
