Deftly blending elements of Soylent Green and Elysium, Arcadia is a London-based sci-fi thriller with an ingenious look at a not-too-distant future that’s gone badly wrong. To celebrate its release on UK DVD, we have a copy to give away.
In the near future, the population has risen to dangerous levels and a deadly disease has gripped the world. To combat the death toll, ‘Arcadia’ has been built as a safe, disease-free haven for the privileged, where life expectancy is more than 130 years. Outside Arcadia, the average life lasts merely 40 years – unless they can earn a place amongst the elite.
Charlie is 39 and living in London. With little time left he works every day to get him and his daughter into the safe haven. When asked to capture a government target, Adam Black, a member of resistance movement ‘Free Care’, Charlie takes this opportunity to guarantee them a place inside Arcadia.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been rumored for a few different DC Comics film roles, but the one I've been hearing about the longest is Shazam. Johnson was in Mexico promoting Hercules, and shed some light on who he may, or may not, be playing, and it's up to him to choose.
Johnson will either play Shazam, or his nemesis Black Adam. The actor is leaning toward the latter, professing his love for the antiheroes in the DC universe and Black Adam in particular.
Johnson said he will make sure comic fans are not disappointed.
"I am putting my heart and soul and my bones into this role"
He also didn't say whether his character will appear in the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
What do you think? Is Johnson right for either role? He definitely gas the physical presence, but what about his acting chops? I loved...

This is regarding the Your Highness: Swords & Sorcery Supreme event we posted on Facebook. If you’re just hearing about it now, the RSVPs are closed and counted and we will not be taking anymore. Thanks for your understanding.
Wow. We had quite a day trying to get this event set up, and due to some miscommunication, things got… well.. miscommunicated. Let’s start from the beginning! We get a lot of opportunities to bring you guys advanced promotional screenings for soon-to-be-released films. These opportunities usually come in the form of a studio request and are usually promoted via Facebook. Facebook isn’t necessarily the strongest system for managing the sheer volume of excited people RSVPing to these events, however, and this became very clear today. We are already moving forward on a new system that will allow us to announce RSVPs to our loyal Facebook followers but use...
