Actress/rocker Juliette Lewis still counts her ex-husband Steve Berra as her best friend, branding him her "biggest support" in life.
The Natural Born Killers star married the professional skateboarder in 1999 but their marriage ended in divorce in 2003 - although Lewis insists she still loves Berra dearly.
She says, "We're actually like family. It's really special and also unusual. You go through difficult times, and it's not like we were immediately, 'Hey! Let's be best friends now!' But it came to that and now we're each other's biggest support.
"And he's dated, and I've dated - it's no problem. We just really love each other. But we both know why it is we're not together, so we don't really have illusions about it."
And the star admits she hopes to eventually walk down the aisle once more.
She adds: "Absolutely I would (marry again) if I was inspired to do so. I'm very traditional in some senses; I believe in love in a monogamous relationship - healthy sex within that - meaning, to me, good sex only comes from a loving relationship. I don't have it any other way."...

Juliette Lewis believes a healthy sexy life only comes with a relationship. The 37-year-old star, who has dated Brad Pitt and married professional skateboarder Steve Berra in 1999, eventually divorcing four years later, would love to get married again because she is "very traditional".
"I'm very traditional in some senses; I believe in love in a monogamous relationship - healthy sex within that - meaning, to me, good sex only comes from a loving relationship," she said. "I don't have it any other way."
The actress-and-singer would like to have children eventually but only if she can find the right partner first. She admitted to Stella magazine, "I'd like children. But my yearning towards motherhood comes out of love; I have it when I'm in love with somebody. So it's not just wanting to me a mom regardless, which some people have. I only feel it if I'm in love, so we'll see how that goes.

Actress-turned-rocker Juliette Lewis is terrified she'll never find true love - because her hectic career prevents her from dating. The "Natural Born Killers" star previously romanced Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, before marrying and divorcing professional skateboarder Steve Berra.
And Lewis admits she worries she'll never settle down again - because she's too busy with Hollywood movies and touring the world with her band.
She tells Britain's Marie Claire magazine, "(My greatest fear) is the fear that the love of my life - whoever he is - will never find me. I was (in a recent relationship) but it was pointless because he lives across the sea. He's a nice, strange, wild English boy, a songwriter. But it's just... the distance... I'm really, really busy at the moment. I'm touring this summer and I've been filming two comedies."...

Juliette Lewis thinks her ex-fiance Brad Pitt is a "super father." The "Starsky and Hutch" star is in awe of Brad's parenting skills and is amazed he manages to raise six children - Maddox, eight, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, Pax, five, and one-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - with his partner Angelina Jolie.
Juliette - who split from the actor in the early 90s - said: "When I run into him it's like running into an old comrade. Good vibes. He's grown into a fine man and father. Total super father. It's pretty impressive. Their family unit is inspiring."
Although she thinks Brad's family is wonderful, the 38-year-old actress - who has mostly been single since her divorce from skateboarder Steve Berra in 2005 - doesn't plan to be a mother until she settles down again because she doesn't want to raise children on her own.

- It usually serves as a ski hill during the crisper months and gives a green-friendly view of the stars above, but for the second year in a row, Mont Tremblant will best serve those who like the intimacy of screen, projector and film. A two hour-ish ride north of Montreal, the Tremblant Film Festival may just be another blimp on the film festival circuit map (we must be closing in on the 1,000 festival mark soon), but Park City’s French-Canadian cousin has the charm, the foreign culture thing, the lieu going for it and also brought along the sort of stars who don’t need a telescope to get a good eyeful. Ioncinema.com will be present to cover the fest. Hollywood actress Juliette Lewis's marriage to professional skateboarder Steve Berra is on the rocks after four years. The Natural Born Killers star - who was once engaged to movie hunk Brad Pitt - has filed for divorce. Her publicist says, "The divorce is mutual and amicable." However, this is not the first time the 29-year-old actress has been involved in a divorce. When she was 14, Juliette legally divorced her parents in order to avoid child- labor laws. She also dropped out of school at 15. The actress won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination at age 18 for her role in Martin Scorsese's Cape Fear.
