- Sister of the popular child actress Vera Beringer (1879-1964), star of such stage productions as 1888's Little Lord Fauntleroy. Vera was an idol of Lewis Carroll and when she grew up also became a Professor (of Voice Production and Speech), as well as an acting coach.
