- Mark started his career in radio, and set the barometer for wild, ridiculous stunts. He once lived in a 4x4 crate under 18 tons of sand for 18 days, he also lived and broadcast from a deserted island for a month, and once lived on a highway billboard for 30 days, (and would have stayed longer - if not for falling and breaking both legs.)
- Was on Comedy Central 93-94 as host of SAST.
- Is on ABC10 #Morning Blend, the station where he started his TV career with Lisa Ling, and Jonathan Karsh, VP of Lionsgate Pictures.
- Pitched an idea about filming a movie at "The Preston School Of Industry," to producer Howard Burd (Mother's Day, Criminal Activities) and is now in post production (and co-wrote with Burd) "APParition," based on real events at the castle that once housed the school. The movie went into production 2017 starring Mena Suvari (American Beauty) and is set for an early 2018 release.
- During the late 1990's worked at the same Sacramento television station (Channel 31) as Joe Carnahan , Ken Rudulph and Joel McDonell.
