Rafael Alberti was born on 16 December 1902 in Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Andalucía, Spain. He was a writer and actor, known for La dama duende (1945), El gran amor de Bécquer (1946) and Estudio 1 (1965). He was married to María Asunción Mateo and María Teresa León Goyri. He died on 28 October 1999 in Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Andalucía, Spain.
