The actor Fritz Achterberg began his career at the Belle-Alliance theater in Berlin in 1898, afterwards followed engagements at other theaters.
From 1923 he concentrated again to the theater exclusively and remained active on stage till the end of war.
He got early in contact with the film business. His first cinematical appearance took already place in 1912 with "Der Strohwitwer".
He became a busy actor in the following years - often in movies directed by Franz Hofer - but his film career covered only a decade however.
