Following two days of star-studded conversations about climate change, Hillary Clinton closed out the Environmental Media Association Impact Summit on Wednesday with a chat about kids and the planet — and a dig at Donald Trump’s recent guilty verdicts.
Clinton joined showrunner Gloria Calderón Kellett and Good Energy founder Anna Jane Joyner at the Pendry West Hollywood for a panel on how climate change is affecting children’s development. The Clinton Foundation is putting a particular focus on the issue via its Too Small to Fail program, and is pushing for it to be highlighted in Hollywood projects to increase awareness.
“There’s been a lot of really, really great efforts to convince people about climate change and a lot of really dramatic information and even dramatic movies about the consequences that we are facing,” Clinton told the crowd. “And so we know that part of the message of kind...

“I had literally been thinking to myself, Rainn, you need to get off your ass and do something about climate change. If this is really important to you, you need to do more than send out an occasional angry tweet, because, let’s face it, that’s what most people in Hollywood do.”
And so began Rainn Wilson’s foray into environmental activism six years ago, when he met and teamed with professor Gail Whiteman for their Climate Basecamp initiative, which combines science and culture — approaching climate change via the lenses of food, entertainment, sports, fashion and music.
Wilson and Whiteman will take part in a panel discussing Climate Basecamp at the Environmental Media Association Impact Summit, taking place on June 4 and 5 in Los Angeles, alongside fellow speakers including Hillary Clinton, Phil Rosenthal, Ted Danson, Eli Roth, Issa López, Lance Bass and Ed Begley Jr. The annual event unites Hollywood...

Lance Bass is poking some fun at *Nsync band mate Justin Timberlake!
In honor of the beginning of May earlier this week, Lance, 45, trolled Justin, 43, with his inescapable “It’s Gonna Be May” meme.
On Tuesday (April 30), Lance shared a TikTok in which he presents husband Michael Turchin – who is eating a bowl of Ramen noodles – with a hand written.
Keep reading to find out more…The card read, “Roses are red…April is gray…But when you wake up tomorrow…”
After reading the card, Michael turns to Lance, who has Ramen noodles on his head, imitating Justin‘s infamous 2000′s hairstyle, as he belts out the chorus to *Nsync‘s “It’s Gonna Be Me.”
“Pov: your friend mispronounces a word once and now it’s a national holiday,” Lance wrote in the caption. “Happy #itsgonnabemay Day!”
If you missed it, *Nsync recently reunited for a new song!

This month marks 24 years since ‘NSync released “It’s Gonna Be Me” as the second single from their third album No Strings Attached — and Justin Timberlake hasn’t known peace since. Every year, when April comes to an end, the singer is reminded of that time he went into the studio and sang “me” with an off Swedish twang that made it sound like he was saying “May” and indicating the passage of time. The lyric goes viral around this time every year, but no one grills Timberlake more than his own friends.

Remember 2006? That was the year that High School Musical came out, and so did Lance Bass. The very first tweet was tweeted, and Miley Cyrus was just some actress on a new Disney Channel show.
In this strange and innocent time, NBC dropped a (then) totally unique pilot into its mix of programming. It was a superhero show – but one without any recognizable names, like Superman or Batman. It was an ensemble show, but it was also high-budget. And, two years before The Dark Knight declared superheroes to be serious business, it challenged the audience to really think about what it might mean if average, ordinary people developed superhuman abilities.
The show, of course, was Heroes.

The sitcom “Girls5eva” follows the attempted comeback of a fictional girl group that peaked in the early 2000s, now reunited as middle-aged women. But headed into its third season, it’s “Girls5eva,” not just Girls5eva, that’s trying to start anew. After two critically acclaimed, if evidently little-watched, seasons on Peacock, the show has been resurrected by Netflix, which has bankrolled a fresh batch of episodes and made the entire back catalog available to its massive audience of over 260 million global subscribers — many of whom will encounter “Girls5eva” for the first time as a Netflix original.

Lance Bass says he developed diabetes during the Covid-19 pandemic and is working on managing his condition.
“I’m definitely conscious of my eating now,” the Nsync member told People magazine while promoting his partnership with allergy medicine Allegra. “I’m learning what you can eat, when you can eat, when you take your insulin — and all that has just been really hard lately.”
Bass noted that, besides monitoring his diet, he has also prioritized exercising to handle his diabetes. “The older I get, the more I know I have to take care of my body. So I work out when I can,” he said. “Exercising is so key right now, but it’s hard for me because of my schedule to get to a gym. So I do have a nice setup at my house and I get 15 minutes here, 20 minutes there.”

More new *Nsync music may be coming in the near future.
While making an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday, Justin Timberlake teased that the boy band’s recent reunion for the single “Better Place” — their first song together in over two decades — for the film Trolls Band Together, may not be the only new tune to be released by the group.
“We’ve been in the studio, so there may be a little something in the future, too,” he told host Kelly Clarkson.
Timberlake’s tease came as he recalled “growing up in the industry and getting access to so much in the studio,” which resulted in him becoming what he described as a “studio rat.” He added, “I just loved being in there and I loved the creative process. And also as it pertains to harmonies, I spent some time with four other guys doing a lot of harmonies.

After a strike-related delay, the Environmental Media Association held its 33rd annual awards gala on Saturday, recognizing Hollywood productions for their sustainability efforts both onscreen and behind the scenes. Avatar: The Way of Water, Extrapolations, Unstable and documentary Common Ground were among the night’s winners, with Laura Dern also being recognized with the Ema Ongoing Commitment Award for her activism in the fight against climate change.
At the event, held at Los Angeles’ Sunset Las Palmas Studios, Dern — who narrates and produced Common Ground, which follows the pioneers of the regenerative farming movement and the ways it may save the planet — began her speech by shouting out her collaborators on the film. She also praised her longtime publicist Annett Wolf and those who “walk the walk” like environmental icon Ed Begley Jr.

“Trolls Band Together” may be a family film, but millennials will be able to instantly recognize the soundtrack’s numerous ’90s pop and rock hits.
Of course, it helps that Justin Timberlake is an executive music producer for the DreamWorks Animation sequel and reprises his role as Branch, a pop troll, from the prior “Trolls” films.
This time around, Timberlake recruited his former Nsync bandmates — Lance Bass, Jc Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick — to sing “Better Place,” the lead single from the soundtrack. It’s the band’s first song in more than 20 years and charted on Billboard.

“I think I didn’t realize how lucky I got with this team,” franchise star Anna Kendrick said about DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls Band Together.
Speaking at Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles event, the Oscar nominee said, “I have other friends who have done other animated films, and they’re like, ‘Yeah it’s cool — you get to show up in your pajamas.’ But its kind of a slog, like someone’s just behind glass and you do three in a row and you just see [hear] … ‘Ah that was great. Do you want to try three more?”
Director Walt Dohrn and producer Gina Shay also were on the panel.
Nsync alum Justin Timberlake also is back for the third film in the toon series. It’s all about the Pop trolls and the five members of BroZone, a five-piece vocal outfit about to perform their last gig, not that they know it.

The Trolls are back! Long-lost siblings reunite and troll magic faces a new obstacle in “Trolls Band Together.” Dynamic duo Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) embark on a new adventure to get Branch’s brothers’ boy band — Brozone — back together to save Floyd (Troye Sivan) from two wannabe superstar singers who secretly leech off of Floyd’s talent.
John Dory (Eric André) catalyzes the reunion of Brozone, who broke up over creative differences when Branch was a baby. The other two brothers — Clay and Spruce — must be tracked down to save Floyd from losing all of his talent to Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells).
An epic soundtrack, complete with a new *Nsync song as well as renditions of old classics and the addition of Camilla Cabello’s voice awaits adventurers ready for “Trolls 3.”

“Trolls Band Together,” the third chapter in the DreamWorks Animation franchise, gets psychedelic with the introduction of new worlds and characters, helped along by some trippy 2D animation from Titmouse. It’s a musical tribute to ’90s boy bands, fittingly enough, as Justin Timberlake’s Branch reunites with his long-lost brothers (known as the family band BroZone): Floyd (Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric André), Spruce (Daveed Diggs), and Clay (Kid Cudi).
But Floyd is kidnapped by pop-star siblings Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells) as part of their nefarious musical scheme.
“With Justin and boy bands as part of the DNA of the Troll universe, it felt like a natural extension, and also, musically and visually, it’s more psychedelic,” director Walt Dohrn (“Trolls World Tour”) told IndieWire. “If you can see my room, I live in a kaleidoscopic, Technicolor, psychedelic world. Enhypen sing, dance, and invite Baby Shark fans to have a fin-tastic time in the “Keep Swimmin’ Through” music video. The K-pop group transforms into a band of belugas for the feature film Baby Shark’s Big Movie…and that’s an incredibly weird sentence to type.
The South Korean boy band will be following up their animated belugas adventure by appearing at the 97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and performing the single from the film’s soundtrack. Baby Shark‘s 18-foot-long float will be populated by the Shark family hanging out amid an underwater seascape.
“Keep Swimmin’ Through” is the second video released from the animated kid-friendly film. The first, “It’s Stariana,” featured the voices of Ashley Tisdale as Stariana and Lance Bass as Lance Bass, the host of Tidal Request Live.
